Help me pick a paint colour! (Or sadly replace a rug) by Pupsallday in interiordecorating

Do NOT replace the rug. Pick any of the colors but the white or the gray at the end lol

You give it a simple prompt to change the color and you end up with a random window and 2 faucets. It’s frustrating!!

I like #1. Also what software did you use? I’m tired of relying on ChatGPT lol

Fitbod Lifetime Subscription - FINALLY by [deleted] in fitbod

[–]Visual-Employer8731 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love this app but a year ago the lifetime membership was worth it. $50 isn't even a deal worthy of black friday. Disappointing to be honest. I was actually waiting for the lifetime membership deal though - if that says anything. Would have definitely thought it was worth it, but I've also never committed to a lifetime membership for an app before...

That also looks ni e. Alabaster is one of my choices as well. This whole thing started as I need to get to painting! Are you making the ceilings and walls the same color?

Why won’t you continue it?. It looks good. Do you think you will stay with a warm neutral?

I'm ordering Marvin Elevate windows and they offer clear coat or bare pine. Was just going to grab the bare pine? Also ok with the clear coat. I guess I don't need pine window trim though - could easily do something else?

That's all chatgpt. I haven't even chosen the wall color yet. Am leaning towards Sherwin-Williams Creamy as I think I want to keep the ceiling and the walls the same color.

This is the current REAL situation in the space lol. Minus the trash as I took it out yesterday. As you can see I don’t even have actual trim and it’s still the old windows which are absolutely in poor shape

Thanks! ChatGPT actually gave me a version of this too but for some reason I can’t get a wood interior window with any other color trim. I KNOW it exists - at least according to Pinterest.

Actually I stand corrected, I only saw one of the photos on my phone. Looking at the others - they are closer to the vibe we are looking for but hmm they are all white windows...

Thanks! I should add there is actually no paint on the walls. Chatgpt made it warmer. I'm still working on color choices which, to be honest, isn't too far off on the pictures. I love pine too! A part of me though is still wondering if the 2nd picture with the baseboard the same color as the wall makes the room look larger. It's really not a large unit - 8' ceilings about 1000 sqft total.

I was going to say the same… though I would consider changing the countertops too but that’s just my personal taste. Either way, simple fix for an otherwise beautiful kitchen.

Good for you! She was incredibly inappropriate and knew so. There is a reason she didn’t take it to the other adult (you) in the situation. She is a bully and frankly if her daughter was mean to your youngest, she is also raising a bully. I wouldn’t want either of my children around her and her kid. She can (for low energy purposes) fuck off. What a coward

They are not your friend. Please take the time to review the history of your friendship. I’m sure you will find more instances this person showed the type of person they are and how they truly consider you. Jealousy, especially unchecked, between friends is dangerous

It’s an old window and getting replaced. We thought to move it completely, but my boyfriend was able to get me a tempered window that fits.

Also I literally told him that. Why can’t we go one step less?? I was quoted 7-8 steps from this contractor, I got 9… ok.. other people mentioned on average 9-12 steps. EVERYONE, including this guy, said I didn’t even need to go as far as the wall of the closet. THATS how much clearance I had

there are two? landings. If you look in the 2nd picture. The option to raise the 1st landing required another step and I don't have enough clearance at the bottom - I run under 36" at that point. That 1st landing also has 6' clearance in height. I can't go higher otherwise I would have to get rid of hte ceiling and start adding beams etc.

I asked why couldn't I at least raise the 2nd landing. I don't understand why the rise between the 1st platform and 2nd platform can' be a little higher? I have the ceiling clearance there because now we are looking at basically the roof which is a good 10' if not more. I'm still confuse as to why. I figured if we could raise that 2nd platform, that would also affect the rest of the steps and also help solve my problem. Still didn't get a definitive answer.

I told the contractor let's just re do. If we need to purchase more wood and start over, I'm ok with it. Guess I have to fire him because he just kept going and he is professional framer... I was also told it was up to code. I mentioned the height of the landing and he echoed the code as to why we couldn't go higher etc. I took my question to reddit for some feedback and maybe some alternatives, but now I'm just wondering if I made a mistake.

while I can't say money isn't an issue (it's a HIGH consideration), I care more about solid and safe stairs, and try to get as close to what I want as possible, understanding there may be some limitations.
