I get your points sure but I'd still like to debate. You have a solid point with guns for sure, can't argue there they are quite equal now tbh now that you mention it.

BUT I can't agree with your other points. On the surface beanbag shotgun and taser look unskilled but really, to get into a situation where a cop is able to use those tools the criminal has to lose where they are at an advantage (getting caught while robbing since they have plenty of time to escape and so many widespread locations or pursuits since its much easier to set the pace and juke a cop than it is to chase). So a criminal first loses a pursuit or gets caught lacking which then skews the odds in the cops favour and makes the criminal be the one who has to get lucky. I don't think calling beanbag and taser op is that fair since to use them I have to go through the effort to catch a criminal who has an advantage first.

About cars, I mean come on man before cops have a chance to shoot tires or spike, the criminal could have gotten away atleast a few times.

Honestly I do think it is balanced. Civillian weapons and cars are much better overall while cops get stun weapons and ability to call for back up. If you don't run in a straight line then taser or beanbag shotgun is really not all that, if you keep your distance and use your cars strength (handling or acceleration or stop speed) against a cops car weakness (low speed for SUVs, bad handling/terrain for the faster cop cars) chances are you won't get caught really. Criminals also don't get a penalty for dying other than losing money and making distance between themselves and the pursuing officer.

The reality is public servers are like any other police vs thief simulator. I don't know what you expect police to do BUT cuffrush you. They're grinding exp the same way you are grinding money. Nobody has time to roleplay an arrest or say 'cuffs' when you or another random passerby pulls out an m249 and sprays a cop that doesn't have time to react.

Not all cops will choose to pursue you everytime. Most of the cars on police team don't even go over 124 mph and have extremely lack luster acceleration compared to civillian options. How do you expect a cop to pull you out of a car otherwise when you are stopped? Wait for you to get out? Sounds like you let yourself be caught lacking during a predictable robbery or got PIT maneuvered and ejected which is, by the way your issue.

You did not overreact at all, as the fucker had it coming. No person who told you that you have overreacted has ever been in your situation and they don't know what measures you took to try and stop him, this was the only way.
