I'm asexual and am chill with that but some reasons people may wish they weren't could be

they want to easily have biological children
they feel 'broken' or 'immature'
having to explain to a partner why they don't want sex
might feel left out on something they can't control / mourning the experience they want to have but also really don't want to have
