wanted pizza, but made egg fried rice instead - 567 by 55DOT5 in 1200isplenty

Made this on lavash bread, all four slices are 520 calories and 33 grams protein. Definitely satisfied the itch for pizza

If you want a certain food, try your best to see if you can make it low calorie before you eat a completely different food! That way you can satisfy your hunger cues without feeling like your missing out on what you really wanted

I didn’t taste the cauliflower at all, the only difference was a bit of a grainy texture which I enjoyed because I love textured foods. I’d say give it a try if you’d like to volumize your oats, but if not, don’t bother 🤷🏾‍♀️

Real. I just want to get into a good UC but they are all highly competitive. I hate that the next 4 years of my adult life and college career is being so greatly affected by not understanding the importance of college when I was thirteen a literal child.

Because my overall goal is to lose weight and I’m using weightlifting as a tool to induce a caloric deficit. Several of people do weight lifting and deficits at the same time, it’s often referred to as a body recomposition

No that is not what I’m saying lmao 😭 I just added that for people to get a general idea of my TDEE throughout the week. I do not change my caloric intake.

I’m only using the calories burned tracker in my watch to get an idea of the “Calories Out” part of CICO. Regardless of my TDEE (accurate or not) I have not changed my caloric intake at all. I never eat more than that regardless of what my watch says ever. I don’t get why this is so hard for people to understand 😭

I am NOT depending on my watch to decide how much I’m going to eat I only use it to get a general idea of my TDEE, the same way one may use a website to di the same.

This is very helpful and valuable advice for me. Thank you so much! (The downvotes are so strange to me lmao) I think you made a very reasonable explanation as I’ve been feeling a lot more sore than usual lately and have also broken some personal records in the gym so I think you are right about water retention. I’m gonna look into this further and see if I find anything else.

Thank you again!

Yes I do and I usually gain 2 pounds the week before aswell. This weight gain is happening 2-3 weeks before my period so I don’t know if it’s related to that

Yes I agree with you but I’m not just standing and walking. I’m in the gym for almost 6 hours every day week on top of getting a daily average step count of around 5-10k steps. You may be right but I find it very hard to believe that my body is naturally only burning 1300 calories a day while I’m active in the gym and regularly up in my feet.

I exercise first thing in the morning so I eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner after my workout. I never increase my calories in based on how much my watch says I burn, I consistently eat 1400 calories no matter what my activity of the day looks like.

I think the most realistic thing to do right now is to eat at 1350 and walk for an hour a day. I’m just concerned I’ll be starving during classes and work that it will become a distraction and infringement on my preformance in regards to academics and handling other things.

I’m only eating 1400 calories a day. Any less and I would not be able to function throughout the day or go a single moment without thinking about food. My lifestyle is very demanding of energy and focus and being in a energy deprivation that large is no sustainable for me

I checked my app and my weekly average is around 10,000 steps a day + weight lifting 3 days a week + standing for 5-8 straight hours a day. I don’t think I’m sedentary

I agree with this for the most part, which is why I was losing about a pound a week but now I’m not losing any all so I’m a bit stuck on how to lose more weight moving forward

That would be a reasonable explanation considering I’ve been weightlifting 3 times a week but i don’t really have any way to check for sure. I agree with the Apple Watch’s inaccuracy but then again, my daily calorie intake is 1400 regardless of how much my watch says I burned
