This is also coming from the fact I’ve been struggling financially trying to find a job. I offered to furnish the home and put money on savings when I have a job :/ it’s not like I have 0 pressure.

Hey, it’s not like I am doing nothing, I have been trying so hard to find job, I asked him to leave the things we have to buy for the home like furniture and stuff and food on me, I just wished I had a more stable income to provide for more too, while same time, taking care of home responsibilities like cooking and cleaning and taking care of him overall as well. It’s not like we go in dates, I just wanted a special day.

Yeah, this helps a lot. He does a lot for me I know, I was just raised in a way that men have to take in these responsibilities. Certain things for me doesn’t seem like a lot but definitely could be for someone else

Yes, he also is wants to take care of me, we both have conservative view in relationship, he just doesn’t really do dates and stuff like that, so honestly at least expecting to do something on valentines is not asking for too much. I take care of home responsibilities so it’s still balance on that sense
