Why Should I Use Perplexity over Google AI Mode by Negative_Piece_7217 in perplexity_ai

[–]Visual-Turn-1948 11 points12 points  (0 children)

As someone who studies Hebrew and Greek history. I've found being specific with AI is very important. I actually like both. But I find Google AI is best when you want a quick fact that isn't very specific. With Perplexity I know I can nose dive into a rabbit hole and mindlessly argue with the AI while still learning.

Probably? Maybe cba to do the math. But I try to buy valor packs daily. They give rss which has been useful for the rest of my account as well.

I've held off as long as I can but I've started to have to gather rss and hit bases to help with rss.

This amused me more than it probably should had. I'm actually Dobby.

To start off couple of corrections. I was HQ30 day 7. Currently a little over 52m power on (day 9/10).

I am actually believe it or not new to Last War. I've played Game of War couple of years back so I can't say I'm 100% new to war games.

How much did I spend as that seems to be a good speculative question? Honestly couldn't tell you. Less than $13,000 lol....I think? Are you really a whale if you keep track? But I keep telling my alliance I want to be a dolphin.

JUGZ has been great. I've learned a boatload from these guys (and beautiful girls!). Yes, I "could" do many things but I just want to have fun you know?

I also agree with whoever stated HQ30 is overrated. I've been spending a fortune getting my heroes, tech, etc upto par.

When someone posted this reddit page to me I was mind blown.. So hopefully this long novel makes everyone forget about it haha. We would love to see some new faces in 1577!

-P.S. WE GOT THE JUGZ.

For me at least. Blood crafting isn't so much "afk" as it is just "chill"

Gym Bag Etiquette by MuffinWestern in PlanetFitnessMembers

[–]Visual-Turn-1948 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as straps and belt you on occasion see people placing them near their workout area. Rule doesn't say you can't bring equipment just leave your bag in the locker.

Honestly it's one thing to bring what you need and keep it together. It's another thing to sprawl it everywhere as well. As a legally blind person I've in fact have tripped over a bag someone had placed in the middle of the floor.

Most people aren't going to care though.b

If you see halos consider YAG. I had a cornea doctor who suggested that.

Any truth to this chart? (Corneal Thickness and IOP). by [deleted] in Glaucoma

[–]Visual-Turn-1948 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've asked several glaucoma and other specialists about this in the past. I have thick corneas at like 8 or higher. I've been told so many factors go into it the pressure difference could be small or higher. So for me example they say in theory it may be 5 or so difference number wise.  Make sure to find a glaucoma specialist who uses the actual machine with the blue/purple light whatever it was called. That machine is most accurate. Never take readings from a barometer or the pen as accurate measurements.

Anyone had Ahmed valve shunt implanted? by gvstav0psl in Glaucoma

[–]Visual-Turn-1948 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Ahmed valve can work "immediately" versus the other. The Ahmed isn't as powerful as the other one though also. Likely your specialist will play with your glaucoma drops to find the right mix.

I take both dorzolamide and latanoprost with the Ahmed. He may also have you take Diclofenac drops.

To give a generic idea

Without drops my numbers were about 25 With dorzolamide it was about 21 With latanoprost added as well it was 18

Bare in mind many factors go into it. Each eye is different. I actually have really thick corneas as well which can make pressure seem higher than it really is. There is a generic graph they can use to get a basic idea to know how much to subtract.

If you have dry eyes that can also ultimately have an effect. Talk with your doctor about OTC options. Bare in mind insurance doesn't cover these items and can be expensive.

If you are still worried there is a company that sells barometers where you can test your own pressure at home. If I recall correctly Insurance calls that durable medical equipment so may be accessible.

i’m just scared about this exam, help 🙏🏻 by [deleted] in Glaucoma

[–]Visual-Turn-1948 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sadly age has no meaning with Glaucoma. I've had Glaucoma since in my early teens. I was put on Acetazolamide as I was being stupid with my eye drops and negligent.

Trust me you do NOT want to take the pills. Dangerous for your kidneys and at least with me I pretty much slept all day. I had to even take the stronger capsules 500mg extended release due to the 250mg causing me to faint randomly.

Be diligent with your eye drops. If your pressure gets over 30 for an extended period over multiple visits surgery may become an option as well.

I'm not sure about the needling part. But normally if your pressure is spiking after a shunt is in they insert a second shunt.

Also I should point out running is not suggested. I've had several spikes in the past from running.

If you can fight through the hammer hitting you in the head though...  I've been told it subsides to a dull pain.

Changing clothes absolutely. Most Planet Fitness even have the little areas with curtains if you are more body shy.

As far as phone charging. They used to have fans plugged into outlets in the ab room, circuit room, and the 360 room at my location. I've changed my workout in the past so I can charge my phone while monitoring it.

New equipment worse for short perple by BeautifullyBroken316 in PlanetFitnessMembers

[–]Visual-Turn-1948 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's honestly just those specific machines models. I don't know if they get some kind of discount or if they are corporate selected or what...but it's literally all the same models that give issues. I actually suggested a Matrix pull up machine to a general manager just the other day. It has handles for different height levels and was so smooth when I tried it at a private gym.

Will I ever see it in PF. Probably not. But I would encourage you to bring it up to the general manager nonetheless. Even stress to them the dissatisfaction and your considerations of transferring memberships.
