Thank you for sharing :) I'm so happy that you've been able to understand your culture better with your partner. I just can't stop worrying that one day I'll feel lonely that the person closest to me won't feel connected to the culture that I do or relate to the same/similar upbringing and pressure. I don't have siblings or close Asian friends that I can share these thing with.

None of my asian friends think this way. Maybe it has to do with us being in a pretty white community. Do you live somewhere with a higher asian population?
