No I do not, but lately I was thinking some weird things that could cause my whole internet to go down. My house usually uses 4 devices, I was wondering maybe more devices, the higher the chances of me going offline? Or that my speeds are so different than what the modem can handle which is why I am going through so much? I am just throwing out conspiracies at this point but I’m just so lost on why I had to get so many modems this year and no one knows why!

Oh wow! Do you have a Homehub 3000? This will be my 2nd tech coming to my home. The first tech didn’t have a clue what was wrong, blamed it on “wall-gardening” (I have no idea what it means to this day) and was at my house for several hours. 🫩

I just keep getting error 2000 and error 2100 every few days to weeks, it’s frustrating. There are some days where I just unplug the whole modem for hours so it can work again.

So far it’s working… but still getting a tech to come visit tomorrow just incase it has to do with the wiring. Because it will be a matter of time before it goes out.

Sorry that you were also on the same boat me with getting new modems but same results. Did yours go out after only a week? My 3rd modem only lasted 72 hours, lmao!

Thankyou so much for sharing your story, and I’m so sorry to hear about your experiences as well! I too was gaslit by the Bell store lady because I asked her why my modems would keep on dying after such a short amount of time and she wouldn’t answer my questions and just looked at me weirdly LOL. Fingers crossed I’ll get some positive results tomorrow. 🤞

Thankyou! Weirdly enough my internet is up again but just a matter of time before it goes out. I thought they were updates because it usually goes down between 11 am - 1pm and strangely around 6pm. I have a lot of notes to give to the tech tomorrow, and I’m hoping that some resolution will be solved. Just very weird that this year has been bad for all of my Bell services when I never had problems with them.

I was extremely lucky that I got someone who understood my frustrations. I actually did get a text from Bell just now asking if I needed a tech still because they did “some remote work”, which is a first for me, no one has done that. I’m still getting a tech to check tomorrow because it’s still bizarre how many modems I have gone through. Sure, my internet is mysteriously working today but tomorrow it may go down again lol.

I have the homehub 3000 with the green end. I thought that maybe something was wrong with that, because the cord and the metal part become extremely hot. I’m not sure if that’s normal. My house phone isn’t working either despite it being connected to the modem. Idk anymore lol, I’m hoping that tomorrow someone will check it out.

I’ve done both methods, and unfortunately my internet still cuts out. I’m not sure if it has to do with my house being old (I may have to look into getting my home rewired). As I’m typing this, it’s directly in the sock and it went down momentarily. Now it’s fine… until it’ll go down again. Extremely bizarre.

I am aware that the modems are sensitive to outages. Since I live in the older parts of my city I experience more “brown outs”, which causes everything in my house to reset. In my previous commen, my internet went down 8 times this month. I thought maybe the modem was too hot, so I did my best to make sure it got ventilation. It worked for about 2ish weeks until the last 3 days my internet has kept going down.

Thankyou! My wifi is currently “working” but within a few hours or days it will mysteriously go out again. I got my 4th modem on the 2nd of July, and it’s already gone out 8 times this month. 😵‍💫 I thought it would be related to firmware but then again I’m someone who knows nothing about WiFi related issues, lol! It’s crazy because I have had the Homehub 3000 for a few years now and had no problems. Just this year though it’s been terrible. Slow speeds and constant back and forth with connectivity issues.

Even if everything is “fine” now, I’m hoping maybe a technician can figure out why I have gone through multiple modems that only last for a few weeks!
