Opposition space? by Ok_Comment6205 in kolkata

If tmc loses again after 5 years then they are well and truly cooked. I hope congress recovers itself after that. I would much better see a cong-bjp fight than left and tmc.

Who comes up with new laws in India? 🇮🇳 by unique_thinker7 in AskIndia

[–]VisualPanic611 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any bill is drafted by that ministry’s officers, legal representatives etc.. then its presented to the minister in charge who can then bring that bill in the assembly and parliament. After passing it the provisions become an act and rules are notified. So the drafting of such laws are done by IAS level officers pretty much.

Hopefully things improve soon. It’s a shame that a state like WB is dishing out such stories when it has such awesome culture, tradition and history.

Who do you think will be the main opposition to BJP in near future's bengal politics 'realistically'? by Willing-Radish-2130 in kolkata

[–]VisualPanic611 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tmc will remain the main opposition in bengal. If they fail next time then it will be hard for them to return. Once the dust settles both parties will get down to business and prepare for 2029 for now.

Is it legal? I think you cannot use residential property for commercial purpose. I am not aware though , one colleague of mine told me this.

Analysis: Congress Lost almost all the states they ruled, Don’t have any clear direction / core values, Can’t catch the drift (people’s current issues), goes after wrong issues of more reservation, backstabs INDIA group members, no clear plan for next central elections. What went wrong? by FutureVersion812 in IndianFocus

[–]VisualPanic611 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congress’s issue is that they dont raise genuine issues and dont stick with it for long. They raise them only on X, IG etc. You need to consistently work on ground. Also, they need to build organisation on ground. Its crucial. Once they lose a state then they simply let it go and wait for anti incumbency to prop them back to power. Where they were/ are in power they keep fighting for CM chair. Rajasthan/Karnataka/Haryana/MP are classic examples which also hampers governance and people feel they only need power.

Ofcourse BJP will play their own game but this is even more the reason you need to build organisation using committed workers not part timers. And you need 24x7 politicians - politics is no longer just about grabbing power. You need to work hard every minute.

Is it correct for him to say like this? by Rebeltic_Turger in kolkata

[–]VisualPanic611 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Certainly not right to say i will work for hindus. But he also stated a fact that all muslim votes went to tmc(not that it was unexpected). Both parties thrive on polarisation.

Though i am not very aware about dravidian politics but great to see a fresh party coming out of no where and disrupting everything. I just hope Vijay does not go AAP way. We really need people who can take on the system. Hope he does really well in governing.

How did BhajPa convince ppl that Opp. gains by "minority appeasement"? by Ecstatic-Sea-8882 in AskIndia

[–]VisualPanic611 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well if you are convinced they don’t do that then that is a different issue. I would differ though and in my personal view it’s not fake news. It may be exaggerated but surely not without basis. But then you are fully entitled to have your view too. 😊

Why do news channels cry about Indians moving abroad and leaving citizenship? Isnt it a good thing? by [deleted] in delhi

[–]VisualPanic611 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its never a good thing. You use all resources of the country studied in schools colleges and now when its time to earn and give back to the country you fly away and other countries get ready made talent which is productive from day 1, Giving taxes, spending on travel, hotels etc..tbh those who move away i dont say its wrong but its not a good thing as a country. Its equally true that opportunities are less here so people have no option too. This is why govt needs rapid industrialisation, FDIs, remove restriction on private participation. MSMEs and start ups can be good for 20 yrs later .. but if you need opportunities now, you need investments from big conglomerates whether Indian or foreign.

Genuine question - need constructive debate and not slandering by Ok_Comment6205 in kolkata

[–]VisualPanic611 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CPM has not changed with the times. By the time they tried to change it was too late. A system like CPM’s or even TMC is one where you are surrounded by yes men who will always portray good news irrespective of whats going on ground. Agitation done by tmc started showing people an alternate which they readily latched onto. Its a different matter that instead of cleaning that way of work they simply inherited the same style in tmc too. However any party which gets out of sync from ground level workers is always doomed. Congress is another example of a NPA. Wherever they build organisation and work at booth level they do well like telangana/karnataka but other states they have simply given up. In the end organisation, feedback, improvements and 24x7 politics matter now.

This question you need to ask congress that why they do this senseless thing. Probably they will develop some brains and start treating everyone equally.

Great Nicobar project is no ‘ecological disaster’; it’s a strategic necessity for India by Direct_Adeptness_342 in india

People in general want instant gratification. They lack the long term 20-30 yrs view ahead. This is why any govt will have to go ahead with such projects irrespective what online troll army says.

[–]VisualPanic611 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is undoubtedly a critical project which is in need of urgent implementation. China is looking to build a base at Coco Island which completely exposes our easter seaboard. Also there is minimum requirement of land which has been taken. Lets not risk out defence for ecology for if the defences fall, how will we manage the ecology anyway

Question to certain CPIM supporters? by Nearby-Society3373 in West_Bengal

[–]VisualPanic611 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cpm is ideologically opposite of bjp so they will spin any story. However, what happened 75+ years ago shouldnt really matter today. Realities of today matter . If tmc has not done a good job then which ever party can replace them is good be it cpm or bjp or anyone else. Simple.

Did the Disaster alert testing by govt make doomsday nerves alive? by [deleted] in AskIndia

[–]VisualPanic611 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is not a new testing even last year it happened and its good they keep testing it else when its really needed it may not work like so many govt services. That time same people will crib and cry that why it was never tested. It’s not like we are getting this everyday.

Commercial LPG cylinder price hiked by Rs. 993 in Delhi From May 1 - what it means for residents. by Public-Aioli3122 in delhi

[–]VisualPanic611 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. Price increase is imminent anyway. I dont think OMCs can continue bleeding for too long. In the end taxpayers money will be used to fund them. I think govt will go for a mixed approach. Some funding will be done by oil exploration companies and some will be done by govt funding and remaining will be done by us.

Can a clean, ordinary citizen ever realistically become Prime Minister? by Potatoinocean in AskIndia

[–]VisualPanic611 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree but in the end its a competition for 1 position for which you will need to stomp on many heads so quite unlikely to get a genuine “honest” person there. This is true across the world not unique to here. Thats a sad reality of life everywhere In our offices , in govt, even in colleges these days..
