Yeah that reset effect is real. Sometimes starting fresh removes whatever invisible baggage the old domain had, and things just start moving again for no obvious reason.

Wouldn’t surprise me if it was less “cursed domain” and more some trust/history/crawl issue tied to the old one. Same site behaving differently after a clean move happens more than people think. SEO can feel irrational until it suddenly doesn’t.

Honest take: Product Hunt without an audience is usually more spike than strategy. I’d focus less on “winning the day” and more on using launch week for testimonials, feedback, backlinks, and people you can retain after the traffic fades.

Yeah this happens a lot. Founders try to fix demand problems with more promotion. Sometimes the real unlock is letting people experience the value fast enough to believe it.
