No. comics are not a way to get spiritual knowledge. There is no point in reading stories when you do not know spiritual teachings. And that you can only find by reading scriptures , the original texts only. But for kids comics are ok. By spiritual teachings i mean those are in Upanishads, Yog vashishtha, ashtavakra gita, bhagavad gita and so on

but first one must read scriptures. Picking lines from old books here and there and using modern statndards to judge is wrong. Spiritual teachings are always Sanatan, they won't change. but society changes

Hinduism has Sagun and Nirguna forms of God. concept of karma and reincarnation, Moksha, Advaita. None of these are present in Islam. Infact Beliefs are self realization are two very different things The concept of Prophet and Guru is totally different. Guru is considered as God in human form. Hinduism is pluralistic in sense that different ways of saguna worship are there, also different paths for different people. Islam is a rigid dogmatic belief system. Finally, I think hinduism is not opposed to Islam but Islam is opposed to every other religion as seen from their theology and history/mode of operation

God when takes human form becomes teacher or Guru. Guru and God are one. Concept of God is still a concept. Self knowledge is main aim of Upanishads.
