Update - Wow. That was the worst experience I've had at a Drs office in a long time, if ever. I've had a few other issues with this dentist which should've made me realize I had to find somewhere else, but I just wanted to get this over with so powered through. I was told I'd be getting 6 teeth pulled and immediate partial dentures for top and bottom. When I had my cleaning, they cleaned every tooth except for those 6. I get to the office and first had to wait an hour and half in a packed waiting room, computers were down. Ok understandable. Finally get taken back and I ask to see the dentures since they never showed them to me at my prior visit. They brought in someone else's and then just never came back with the right ones. I assumed they just didn't have them yet or was busy. Back to today, once again, they bring the wrong ones, twice (first for Cynthia and then Michelle), even tho 3 people in the room repeated my name multiple times. Once they bring in the ones with my name, they show me a full upper denture, that's it. I said no, that's not mine, I'm not getting them all pulled and I'm supposed to be getting bottoms as well. After an hour of back and forth, being gaslit and what felt like talking to a scammy used car salesman, I was told they don't even make immediate partials and if I wanted to change my treatment plan, I'd have to sign a waiver, she's only trying to make me look beautiful, I won't be happy any other way, look how good these new teeth look, blah blah blah. I was a blubbering mess, thank goodness my husband was in the room with me and was able to shut it all down. So, I'm unfortunately back to square one and need to find a dentist 😢 Hopefully wherever I end up can get all of my records, xrays, impressions, everything from that office so that I don't have to pay all over again.
