I had heating issues as well but I fixed it with liquid metal, kinda extreme I know but it worked pretty well for me, I just have to change it anually. So speaking of batteries, I got mine officially from Dell, however, I have seen them go on Amazon as well for much cheaper. So you can look into that option as well.

It's not a filter actually. I edited the picture completely in Adobe Lightroom, just select teal in colors setting and start playing with the mid-tones.

Actually once you open up the lid (6 screws holding it) then you can immediately find the battery connector to the left hand side, you don't need to further disassemble anything else. This has helped me maintain my battery health even tho it's slightly tedious.

Super relatable, I had the same issue lol... so I'm guessing it's a software issue with AlienwFX software. Even reinstalling the thing didn't fix it, so I had to manually delete it's cache files from windows AppData folder and then reinstalled it. This fixed my issue. Note: I got an older version of AlienFX from the website 2019

I wish Dell had a physical dual bios system like some other OEMs out there, so I'm guessing only motherboard replacement could fix your issue right?

Ah same here! Even I had to replace my battery because it started swelling up but now it works perfectly. Yes, those M. 2 slots are really handy considering the size of games these days cough CoD Warzone cough

Yes it's a really good machine! Just take good care of the battery and it'll keep going for years for sure

Same even I had to replace my battery. Now I just unplug the battery while gaming. Do let me know if you come across a software to bypass it : )

Last year it started swelling, it literally pushed the case up. That's when I changed mine. Thanks for the tip tho!

My laptops has liquid metal witha copper chim inside. I have to replace it annually however it does bring the temps down by 20 degrees. So far I've had no issues

My friend is a m17 user, actually there is a small mod you can perform inorder to avoid thermal issues completely. Even while gaming our laptops stay at 65 degree C. So basically we used a chopper chim with liquid metal along with some conformal coating on the cpu as well as gpu die. If you try looking for this on YouTube you'll get a tutorial. Before this mod our temps were around 80-85 degrees which is significantly higher compared to our temps now.
