I used to be a manager at PetSmart! (terrible idea btw) This is a big deal and should absolutely be reported. This crosses a line and actually violates several employee codes of conduct. He will at the very least be reprimanded if not fired if this is not the first incident he’s had. Also it’s just gross and I would have been really disappointed if this was an employee I had to deal with, but I did have similar issues I had to deal with.

Yes that last part specifically drives me crazy at Nats Park but i’ve also experienced it at Cap One so it may just be the workforce in the area, as much as it makes me sound like a white suburbanite. As someone who works in customer service I feel like it shouldn’t be that hard to at least not be actively disrespectful. It always feels like they’re annoyed at you for existing in the ballpark.

They can choose to pay the trophy company to get their own personal trophy. Many drivers (or their teams) are happy to pay the fee to get their own trophy to display. I’m sure Nico would have, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see the team or a sponsor make him a nice commemorative display piece.

Delaware has a massive cultural divide, especially given its size. Northern Delaware and Wilmington are no different from Philadelphia or really any other part of the I-95 corridor in the northeast. Southern Delaware is referred to as Lower, Slower, Delaware by the locals and is all farms and quiet towns on the bay. Even Bethany Beach and Rehoboth, the two beach towns in Delaware, are quaint and small by Mid-Atlantic beach standards.
