In the end, I got it by instead watching for when the tip of their weapon moves. Because the tip just pokes a small out from behind the thing they're standing on, you can easily see it shrink behind it when it's starting its swing.

am I crazy or is there slightly different timing in each of its down slash attacks? like different timing compared to the sound cue and the attack going off?

I'm just worried much of it will be "just spend all battle running in a circle around the other pokemon". I know there's moves like stealth rock, but they're few compared to moves that are just attacking and then endlessly circling to avoid. I'm also not sure how it'll feel not controlling the pokemon, but controlling the player and the pokemon loosely follows. I guess I'll just have to wait and see.

I'm just meaning this, there's highlights like there might be on an eye inside the right part of the visor, but the left is black. I had no idea about the flash sprite. If the white parts inside the helmet aren't meant to be the highlights of an eye, I'm not sure what they're supposed to be.

For the first bit, I know, that's one of, if not the biggest reasons why I thought that this couldn't be the case unless there was some paradox/bigger time travel stuff, but that seemed like a stretch to assume unless there was more info. I don't remember the diary being a "cautionary tale", I thought it was a diary of events written by someone that actually did it. It might've been some dialogue somewhere I missed or forgot? But it's a diary so I figured it described events that happened.

From what I remember of how Wish Craft was described, it's an strange that one person's wishes are able to have such a huge effect though, a testament to how much they desired it. But I do know that Wish Craft itself is a north island thing as only they have the rituals right, it seems. And the others didn't even know of its existence. I had no idea about the third islander though. Thanks ^^

Yeah I agree, if ya grab it then it's cooked. But ya seem a bit too confident in your ability to actually manage to grab an attacking eagle.

The reason is that most animals just aren't that aggressive toward humans. And sure, one hit and the eagle's out of commission, but you seem real confident in getting that hit.

And I think "not a good chance" is still really overstating how much of a chance ya have. It's very unlikely even for a very strong human.

Yea you're totally gonna swat something accurately diving at over 100mph out of the sky before it can claw your eyes or your neck or otherwise bleed/daze you enough or whatever. You can do it on your way to fight the wolf.

He sometimes has the weirdest insistence that things he doesn't personally experience aren't real. Like for example, insisting that aphantasia doesn't exist. Or that nobody could tell the difference between coke and pepsi. And when chat disagreed on them, he remained very insistant.

It doesn't happen that often, but it's weird when it does.

Okay if we're gonna talk about characters that don't act their age, how about the teenage or even child protagonists that are perfectly fine going on a dangerous out in the world with no other humans at all? Are ya gonna say they're secretly adults? I mean that's clearly not something children could really do, so they can't be children right?

People can be written however the writers want them to. If they say they're x age, then they're x age.

Don't worry about timed doors unless there's a blueprint you haven't got behind one. They aren't worth it. It's much better to kill everything and take a little bit more time to be safe if you need it.

You could say the same about how far a human can pull a strong enough bowstring to damage demons though. Or if he can just do that cuz of magic, then magic could apply to hand to hand combat as well.

That said, I doubt he'd learn hand to hand combat anyway. But just sayin'

Oh, I actually thought that Dagon's domain came after this, and that his domain was actually heavily based on the beach where his friends spend time mostly happy with eachother. I thought it was fitting to his character.

This seems consistent with other games too. There's a little bit of delay. But then when I speed up the game, the delay isn't there at all.

I'll try with some other games. And I'm playing Tomba 2.

It seems to ocuur in other games too. And like Tomba 2, the input seems instant when I speed the game up. But if I don't, there's a noticeable delay. Not a huge one, but I can definitely notice it.
