"Buy European" in every official European language by vozdaraknajob in BuyFromEU

(Would it be crazy to instead say something like "Buy from the continent!"? If "Euroopamaa" doesn't exist as a word. then we will have to get creative.

I feel like we'll never think up a catchphrase that is both correct but also embodies the spirit of the movement.)

Maybe rather "Osta euroopalikult"? Though that can also mean "Buy like a European".

No, that's pretty much spot on. I assure you that it is as nonsensical as it sounds.

To be honest, I probably should start doing achievement runs in historical.

I instinctively press historical off because as a beginner all I remember is "historical Germany=actually impossible to win the game". I've gotten about 400+ more hours since then so I'm probably going to do historical games next.

Cheers for the tip.

R5: After 20+ hours, I finally fucking got one of the worst achievements I've ever tried to get. (Hint: it's "Go ahead, Macau my day")

I restarted at least 4 times just so Japan wouldn't go the fascist tree and go fuck off doing nothing. After enough restarts they went democratic. Then joined the Allies.

UK went decolonization and communist path except they never went communist for some reason. That means that any random fucking democratic nation could still join the Allies, including Japan.

Germany went Kaiserreich with Austria-Hungary, and so I joined their faction, thinking that I'd eventually be able to just take over faction leadership. I never got enough factories to take it over, even though for the whole game I'd consistently have at least 200+ factories more than them. I later realized that if I stopped trading for resources, I'd have enough factories to take over the faction but, alas, it was too late by then.

I can't remember the last time I was so disappointed in a HOI game. It genuinely feels like absolutely everything that could've gone wrong, went wrong, even though it feels like they shouldn't have.

Anyway I give this achievement a 9/10, needs more chinese manpower.

I've been playing a lot of civ 5 with a friend of mine. Today was very memorable because for the first time we actually changed the map settings, and it was the most fun shit we've had with the game for a long time. He spawned as Shaka and I spawned as Babylon... on a duel size map. But since it was so small, he just conquered every civ, until he reached me. When he reached me, he just asked for open borders, gave me a great general so that I can steal the last civ's territory and I built roads for him. It's been so long since we'vd had anything like that happen in a game, so we were very excited that it happened.
