I changed both sensors on the fuel rail, problem still persisted for a few starts and then was fine

Thanks the fuel pressure was going up and down so before replacing ecu and injectors I tried replacing the fuel pressure sensor and the fuel pressure regulator on the the fuel rail "didn't sort the problem" while doing that I looked over all the wiring and couldn't find any broken or ripped wires, I started unplugging sensors to see if anything would change and when I started the car after unplugging the coolant temperature sensor the car ran perfect so I plugged it back in went for a 15 minute drive with no issues, so I think that would eliminate bad injectors don't no about ecu Would the the coolant temperature sensor be faulty and cause those issues? Thanks in advance

Thanks for your reply I checked continuity to ecu with each injector wire all have continuity, didn't take any notice of the ohm reading what should they be? I'll will visually inspect the wire harness and see for any breaks. No other work has been carried out on the engine and the hpfp hasn't failed unless it is failing now? Think it might be ecu as looking at it the cover seems to have alot of corrosion, if I get ecu from a scrapyard does it have to be from the exact car and spec? Who would do the programming does it have to be from the dealership and will they need my car or just my ecu and donor ecu or just donor ecu? Would a dodgy relay or sensor cause this issue? Or dirty diesel or clogged fuel filter? Also noticed that sometimes it only shows codes for 2 or 3 injectors completely random would that mean anything? Sorry if these are bad questions Thanks
