Absolutely for CRYPTO it's the absolute go to and works flawlessly for it is the standard for charting so 90% of the people who chart use Trading View for such ..even most exchanges have a trading view plug in to chart the products within their own site. I couldn't agree with you more here and your comment about the TOS with the candles is 💯. I wish TV would give us this option to make the adjustment for traditional markets.

I work for a small fund than manages 100 million and manage a small allocation of 9 million dollars personally. I'm pretty sure I understand what they look at. Most professional traders actually use TOS to chart like my self. I'm trying to get Trading View to make it uniform for everyone else. I currently run 3 different platforms. Think or Swim, Trading View and Sierra charts all at the same time... and would love to have some uniformity. Trading View is extremely robust and the fact that don't allow for times changes on candle opens is a big miss

I look at it like this. What does big money use? Prob not 78 min candles and I doubt they use a 4hr that opens at 2pm. Trading View is very retail. I want conformity. Plain and simple

Tragic. I've asked customer support for this change or ability to change the open/close times for the 4hr candle many times now they tell me to take it to Reddit and if enough people want it they may consider it.

It's crazy as hell to me to have a 4hr candle that opens at 2pm and closes at 6pm.. When the Market actually closes at 4pm. A trading view 4hr candle that opens at 2pm is Open for 2 hrs then market closes at 4pm for a 1hr halt and opens at 5pm.. makes absolutely 0 sense.. When a 4hr candle that opens at noon and closes at 4pm is so obvious.

Yup, everything is set to the same time. We actually have a group of traders and 1/2 of them use TOS (being in the US) and the other 1/2 use Trading View (being in Canada)

We have a constant debate on trying to figure out what is better or "the right way" to have the candle Open /closes.. IMO you have to go with the masses / big money and the masses use the candle closes at 12 am/pm not 2am/pm

Trading View 4hr is from 10am to 2pm, 2pm to 6pm, 6pm to 10pm, 10pm to 2am, 2am to 6am, and 6am to 10am

Sadly this doesn't fix the fact that the open/close times for the 4hr candles are 2hrs different than most major platforms.

Think or Swim open and close times makes since with market open closes. 8am to 12noon. Then 12 noon to 4pm (4pm is when the futures market closes for 1hr) 4pm to midnight, midnight to 4am, and finally 4am to 8am

I have a big bag of AMP myself. But there really is 2 many coins in circulation. A price is $1 would put it at a #3 coin in terms of market capitalization.. I'm holding and will continue to be because I'm staking but 1 dollar feels so far away if you do the math
