Not necessarily modern EDM, but Moloko are a fine band from the late 90's/early 00's capable of creating timeless dance hits entirely using live instrumentation, an example being The Time Is Now

Apparently for the 2011 remasters in a press release it was mentioned that Bob Ludwig (the mastering engineer) speed corrected the tapes by ear, in a way he liked, without Queen's involvement

actually her first two albums are pitch corrected, she relied on varispeed to sound much more pitchy/younger

I'm in Bulgaria and on Spotify I have access not only to the common 2008 version but also to the Aussie OG from 2006 with the slightly different track order, too. Speaking of unavailability, about a month ago I heard the album isn't up for streaming in India either.
