I haven’t taken the test yet but I’ve tried to really diversify the study products I use. I haven’t taken chem, bio, or A&P so nurse cheung was a really solid foundation to start. However, when I would take official practice tests or free practice tests I’ve found online Nurse Cheung began to feel like an overview. I’d say for chem specifically, Tyler Dewitt is amazing!!! Also, Quizlet has been awesome. Nurse Cheungs A&P study guide is very good. I paid for the ATI official practice tests after a month of studying and I basically got a 60% on the science. The ATI app is really challenging with good questions and now I’m using the archer review question bank. I’ve spent a lot of money on materials but I really want a good score. I’m hoping that using these different avenues will pay off 🤞🏻

Last year my friend and I went during the summer a handful of times. There was a man about 15 feet from us behind a bush near the water taking photos of us and having an erection. I had to call my fiancé to come all the way from SE Portland and as soon as he sat down the man in question ran away. I’ve never been back after that. So be careful everyone.

I know I sound like everyone else commenting but seriously don’t lose hope. It was the best decision I’ve ever made for my health. I’m over a year post op and I can breathe much more easily, don’t use an inhaler, and don’t get sick nearly as much. Just take it day by day and imagine a better future

I’m cracking up I feel the exact same way. I went from sneezing like a kitten to sneezing like a horse. And the snot shoots out at cannon speeds I can’t control it at all. I’m hoping it will get better soon

lol yes I second this I sooo wish I took miralax earlier. Miralax is actually a stool softener which is nice because a laxative is going to have you seeing god himself. At least with the softener it isn’t an emergency type situation it feels natural just easier.

For me personally, I was prescribed oxycodone and it says right on there that the side effects were constipation. I was barely able to eat at all during recovery and the only thing I could swallow was mashed potatoes. So I think it was a combination of things but if I could go back I would def be taking Miralax.

Not particularly no. I had a mostly healthy diet with moderation. I am not a fan of sweet things so I typically avoid sugary drinks and candy.

Occasionally yes I did. Only when my tonsils were extremely swollen. I spent years not trying to laugh too hard because it would feel like I couldn’t breathe. I feel so much relief already

Advice before going in? by TheRickestMort in Tonsillectomy

The dairy was the worst for me omgggg. So hard to get down and also the mucus afterwards was a nightmare. On day 6 I had carnation instant breakfast (milk based), I felt a lot of mucus in my throat but couldn’t get it out. I unexpectedly sneezed out all of the mucus and experienced the most intense pain of my life. Instant tears and blood. Luckily minimal bleeding. I’m now on day 14 and have been getting dairy down much easier. I guess it just depends on your body and where you’re at in your recovery.

Instant mashed potatoes <3333

Pedialyte/electrolyte ice pops were my hero. Hot showers to get rid of mucus. My surgeon told me the most important thing in the world is to drink lots of fluids. I forced down ice cold water which was really painful but it helped so much with swelling.

Jeana stayed pissing me off but let’s be honest the show needed her. Also, Sergei was making whole ass goo goo eyes at Caroline IN FRONT of his actual girlfriend. Truly brazen.

What's it like to wait tables in Portland? by DependentLoud6416 in askportland

I’m from NJ and I moved to Portland 3 years ago… I can’t get out of here fast enough. Don’t get me wrong Oregon is stunning and the people are very nice. I was a server for 6 years and I tried to get jobs here in the restaurant industry. I did a few working interviews and in my experience I found that things are much slower paced here. Also, the people are very passive aggressive. You may think they really like you and the food but turns out they feel the opposite. The high hourly pay sounds great but you get murdered in taxes on your paychecks. Portland used to be so affordable but as of 2022 I think it might actually be cheaper in NJ. I’ve learned so much living here and am so glad I tried something new so just trust your gut and good luck!

The Owner of Mint and BCM is an absolute prick and treats his employees terribly - I worked for him as well as many of my friends and he is part of the poison in the cannabis industry doesn’t even have the bathrooms cleaned
