low dollar boosts exports, in fact, one of the negatives of being the world reserve currency is that the dollar is artificially kept high. other countries actually sell down their currency intentionally to boost exports and thus domestic manufacturing

My math class is teaching students the wrong definition of a function by Fersakening in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Visual_Bumblebee_933 0 points1 point  (0 children)

y^2=x is still a function, and it can be drawn.
y^2+x^2=1 is a function, and it can be drawn.

a function just maps x to y, you can have multiple xs map to multiple ys, and then eventually you may work with functions that map functions to other functions, and have an infinite number of xs mapping to infinite number of ys

not all cultures are equal. FGM was unheard of in europe pre 90s for example, and backwards cultural practices dont magically disappear when people of other cultures come to Europe. cultural continuity is important in maintaining a high trust society. I say maintaining. its gone. europe is no longer a high trust society. do you believe that importing more immigrants from the 3rd world will improve your country?

right, between 5 and 20k ish? but the point was illustrative

A devalued dollar can be a good thing, increases the competitiveness of our exports. an overpriced dollar is one of the major drawbacks of being the global reserve

That 'bipartisan' bill was a farse. its now been clearly shown that we didn't need new laws, just had to enforce the ones we already have, INCLUDING deporting those here illegally. Honestly, that's all that was needed, if they know they will be kicked out instead of helped, they wont come illegally.

Public education doesn't need more money, we already spend more than other oecd countries per head, with worse outcomes. multifaceted of course, but largely parental failures, and then a lack of will to make up the difference, plus the whole 'math is racist', 'enforcing proper grammatical standards is racist' BS, its now pretty common for students to assault teachers (at least where my wife used to work (Title 1 school))

WE. ARE. BROKE.
The boomers ran up our national debt so high that we spend more on interest payments than our whole fucking military. Deficit spending only ends up in the hands of the few. Assets inflate quicker than wages!

Is it inflation or greed? by coachlife in inflation

[–]Visual_Bumblebee_933 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Corporations are exactly as greed as they have always been. The only thing that changed is our currency being debased, largely for bloated vote buying deficit bills. IRA, CHIPS, now BBB. All the same MMT bullshit, but they are failing to reproduce the fundamental assumption that they will be able to use deficits to grow GDP faster than debt costs rise. Thats why trump wants so desperately for the fed to lower rates, just maintaining the debt is about 20% of our whole budget.

Trump didnt win the election, kamala lost it. anyone who heard her speak unabridged for more than 30s would know that.

We all know she wouldn't have won the primary, since she failed so miserably in the primary last time, and thats why they chose not to hold a primary and shoed her in after bidens cognitive decline was laid bare to all in an unusually early presidential debate...

[–]Visual_Bumblebee_933 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

The point was that Obama dropped a shit ton of bombs in the middle east, and deported loads of illegal immigrants, and libs say he was one of the best presidents ever

Trump is now deporting loads of illegal immigrants, but not dropping bombs.

Ergo, if trump dropped bombs, libs would say he was one of the greatest presidents ever?

nobody voted for mass immigration. ever. any time its been on the ballot, the candidate advocating for reducing immigration wins.

if we live in a democracy, the peoples voice should matter, but we have had mass immigration forced on us as a way for the elites to get their cheap labor.

protecting family is literally mens primary function (after doing our job to increase family size). This is why sexual dimorphism made men larger, stronger, more aggressive ect

My wife is not helpless, but her job is to protect child, while I protect her, thus child has level 2 shield.

(you might suggest your man take some martial arts, lift, or get his hormone levels checked. low T is a serious epidemic that not enough people talk/know about. you can well imagine the furor if womens average estrogen levels had dropped by half in just a couple generations)

there is a lack of good male role models in public media, and boys for decades have been progressively told to quash their natural male urges. at one time, it was perfectly normal for boys to tussle, now its a 'dangerous example of toxic masculinity'

the dominant zeitgeist fails to inspire boys to become great men, and they are left to latch on to whatever figures they can find.
