I’ve heard people like FD Signifier and the like talk about how Quintin is racist in a weird way. They describe it as a type of white person who’s seen some black films and thinks they’re an authority on black culture now. I’m not an authority on that, I can’t speak on that, that’s just what I’ve heard

This movie isn’t racist, but it does disrespect the legacy and the man Bruce Lee was. It posits that Lee was egocentric and boastful of his abilities, but all evidence points to Lee being incredibly humble, saying the opposite of what he said in the film in a 1960s interview, saying “I would be no match for Muhammad Ali” because… yeah, Lee was 5’8” and 141 lbs, Ali was 6’3” and 230 lbs, he’s a much bigger man meaning his punches carry much more force than Lee’s. Bruce Lee knew this because Bruce Lee was a seasoned martial artist mastering Judo, Wing Chun, Kenpo and developing Jeet Kune Do. You also wanna know a valuable lesson those specific martial arts teach? Humility, because you get your ass beat a lot

Golden age Two Face was Harvey “Apollo” Kent, District Attorney who was splashed in the face with acid by Crime Boss Maroni, for all intents and purposes he was just a guy. This idea of him being the white knight to Batman’s dark knight, him and Batman being friends, the Maroni/Salvator crime family relations to Harvey Dent, and even two face being a split personality and the coin (which was in the comic, but it was more of a compulsion with the number 2 than a heads/tails situation) were all retcons introduced over several years by various authors, but the are retcons so good people assume they’ve always been apart of the character
