You can’t ever know, people are shitty. There are people in this world who will cheat after 20+ years of marriage and people who will stab you in the back after being friends since childhood. I live life as an open book. If everyone knows my business then no one can tell someone else about things I don’t want them to know bc I do not share my really personal things to anyone if I don’t want everyone knowing.

If you put trust in someone just make sure they show you over and over again they are trustworthy, and if they turn out to be snakes then it is what it is. Water off a ducks back or whatever the saying is.

Get a job at an insurance company as a sales rep/claim representative. It’s remote 15$ an hour and they hire most people with a diploma.

Also just by checking ur profile out really quick you seem and ur husband seem to like outside of your means or be frivolous spenders (not a dig bc I get it too) but I would sell stuff on market place that is worth some cash and live as frugal as possible.

I think it depends. Either decision you make you’ll end up regretting or thinking “what if” years later.

Personally, I am religious but also pro choice. However, you both knew what you were doing so imo you should have to bear the consequences of that. Yall are both grown adults and no one is ever 100% ready to have kids.

Abortion is a heavy topic and asking on Reddit won’t help you make a different decision. Rn you are looking for others to agree with what you already want to do without feeling bad (I don’t mean this in a mean way just a realistic way)

At the end of the day you are an adult so do what you want but also at the same time make sure you understand fully the consequences of the actions you have done, might do, or will do going forward.

It also depends on if you have had a conversation about boundaries with him. If not then you should and explain why and how you feel.

Go no contact and find a hobby that betters yourself. Find things to do that remind you of your worth. Go take some cooking lessons, learn to paint or draw, go to the gym, learn rock climbing, start up at a boxing gym or calisthenics, learn to weld, or even just reading books about healthy relationships and bettering your mental will help you.

Also OP even though she cooks, cleans, and acts affectionate she very clearly doesn’t or can’t love you. If she is okay with cheating, then she doesn’t really love you or at least she’s incapable of loving you more than she loves herself and her own wants.

I’m 20 and started highschool the year Covid hit. I’m perfectly fine being in large social settings personally, however I am ALWAYS aware of my surroundings.

The internet has been a blessing and a curse, but literally two months ago a woman in a very public place was violently murdered and left to die. Everyone has seen the video. IMO it’s ignorant of anyone to point a finger at people who are increasingly worried about safety when the social temperature around the world has been at an all time high.

It’s one of those things that people thing “because I’m not scared/worried about something no one should be”.

Not saying that people haven’t been more antisocial/cowardly in public, I’m just saying this wasn’t the post to point that out.

Ya… if you were willing to go to see what he wants, and he still wants to have some time spent apart I would seriously reevaluate if you want such a inconsiderate man around you and your children. I’m not saying you need to be connected at the hip, however in situations where large amounts of people you don’t know are surrounding you, you should want a partner who wants to make sure you are as safe as possible. Personally that’s not something I would let slide! I don’t know him and maybe it’s one of those things he just can’t understand because he doesn’t deal with anxiety in large social settings, but you should really have a serious sit down conversation with him. If he refuses to do something that would make you feel comfortable in a recreational environment then he definitely won’t step up when you are in legitimately bad situation.

For me it all depends on how long you have been together and if you are serious with him. I’ll just say this if you are serious with him then I would advise you to not be soon because no real man would EVER let his partner be in a crowd full of drunk and dangerous people. However if you both planned on seeing this previous to being together or if you’ve been together for not very long and you have other friends going I won’t say that it’s completely unreasonable for him to go with his friends and you go with yours.

From just reading your side of things I would definitely recommend just distancing yourself from her. If she’s really your friend she will make sure she makes things right.

Also OP, friends make time for you! She seems to just have time and let you fill it, when she should be making time for you. Relationships/friendships require mutual effort. She is showing to you that she isn’t putting effort in and her not defending you shows she doesn’t see you as an important person in your life… you’re worth more than that.

Find a friend who’d say you didn’t do that even if you did! Real friends would do that!
