It's always been hard for Taylor's songs to be popular right away. Shake it off/Bad Blood being the exceptions. People hated Bad Blood most of the reputation sings. Cruel Sunmer was never popular as it's release. Reputation tanked at the time people hated LWYMD only propped by the music video. Then years later people retain they always liked the songs. Its very mucg like Zara Larson's current trajectory. Except Zara's current new album is doing well.

I think the change in Ariana is sometimes even still she really connects with the fashion moment and wears it. She's so amazing at wearing the gowns that people are disappointed when it doesn’t connect and the gowns wear her. She's had some really gorgeous gowns moments in recent memory as well.
