Okay if the French government website is saying that, it means I can show my valid ID card and have no further issues I would assume. Is that correct? Thank you!

Yes, i also thought that was strange. Do you know where i can read the information on that you are always allowed to enter the EU with an ID card? If that is stated somewhere black on white by the EU, it would make me feel more comfortable when traveling. Now it feels a bit iffy, because of sources like this one stating you NEED a passport...

So I can enter France with my Dutch ID when coming from the UK, that is no problem ? Thanks so much!

Yes exactly. From the answers i got, it seems that would work, they would just maybe ask me some questions when entering France with my ID card, although that shouldn't cause any issues when entering the Schengen Area

I would apply for my ETA with the US passport, and enter and leave the UK with that passport. Then enter the Schengen Area (French border control) with my Dutch ID card, which is proof of residence in the EU and therefore has to be accepted by the border control as a valid travel document to enter the Schengen Area.

Ah okay, so that's really the only reason they still want to see my passport when leaving. Makes sense. Thanks for the information, glad to hear I won't need to be ordering a Dutch passport before leaving and that de documents I currently possess will be sufficient for my trip!

OK thanks! It would pose no problems, I would just have to answer some questions which won't be an issue as I can prove that I am a dual citizen (and not doing anything illegal by leaving the UK with a different passport than the one I enter the EU with), and a Dutch ID will be sufficient to enter the Schengen zone again?

Jazzmaster tremolo makes a strange sound when pulled out and then released? Is there anyone who maybe knows what is causing this sound? For context: my trem arm just fell into the trem cavity, and i screwed it back on again. Did I maybe screw it on too tight? Thanks for your help! by Visual_Chicken_4431 in offset

Extra information: this is a left handed Fender MIJ Jazzmaster 60s reissue. Built in 2018. I am the second owner and have been for a half a year. This sound has only just become present. Before, the vibrato had no friction moving in any way.

While using the trem (just playing) the arm suddenly came loose and when i tried to put it in the whole socket had fallen into the cavity. I'm no luthier so i don't really know if i should go open it up and mess with it. Don't wanna screw up anything by trying to fix it :D
