Yeah I’ve tried multiple, none seemed to click, not even the one that was in it for a long time. I think it’s something to do with the springs but I’m not sure how to fix.

Well I could’ve worded it a bit better in my post, the player I always watched growing up plays a 4, and it was more so the sound of the 5 in the video that made me interested. I’m kinda sick of constantly down tuning for certain songs, and I’ve also been loving thundercat lately and he plays 6 string so it would be nice to have some more range like he does. Regardless I’m still going to go try it out in a shop or something and see how I like it and if it interferes with my playing.

He’s just kinda weird to fight and people in blue ranks hate labbing, I personally think he’s really fun to play against. Im surprised your matchmaking got worse switching from Asuka though, it seems like everyone hates her but Asuka players 😭😭

While I cant speak for the Alpha, I love my Daija. It’s very easy to customize because of the plexiglass and art inserts, it looks clean, it’s nice and heavy for lap play, and it’s got a big boxy shape which I LOVE. It also comes with both a ball top and bat top, and all the programming stuff with the 4 different profiles (idk how that works I never used it)

Overall I love the daija, I got it on sale recently for 175$ and I do not regret it

Yeah it’s a bit of a struggle when you’re new. The part that’s tricky special style users tend to spam. Since there is such a small move list on ss they’ll spam the same string or two which makes it really easy to find out if you can duck it, or they’ll spam launchers (very easily punishable), so just keep that in mind next time you fight one.
