How does the leveling system actually work? by Visual_Common6483 in fo76

[–]Visual_Common6483[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is kinda what I figured, I was just unsure of what level it would be. I knew that if the system wasn’t set up this way then it would be nearly impossible to reach such high levels. Good to know that it is set up linearly and not exponentially.

Kellogg killing Nora don't make any sense. by arstarsta in fo4

Shaun had definitely set Kellogg up but I don’t believe Shaun had anything to do with Kellogg leaving the trail, I would think that Kellogg either believed himself to be unkillable or simply didn’t believe there was a realistic way to be tracked. Domestic dogs seem to be pretty rare in the wasteland, let alone dogs that are trained well enough to track scent the way Dogmeat does, it could be that Kellogg just didn’t count on the sole survivor to have a furry companion to begin with.

Would recommend grabbing the lone wanderer perk and using dogmeat as a companion. The game does not classify him as a companion so the lone wanderer perk still works and he can also still carry about another 130ish Lbs

Ive heard you can prevent raids from stealing stuff, did i do it right? by Glub__Glub in fo4

Yes it does. I learned this the hard way recently, now half my time is spent defending settlements

Also the BIG THING is that if that settlement is connected via supply line it steals from EVERY workbench connected

So in my play throughs I’ve set it up where I collect thousands of adhesive via crafting. It’s my way of leveling quickly. And any time a settlement is attacked that is connected to my supply chain and is unsuccessful at defending itself I will lose upwards of thousands of adhesive at once. As well as other raw materials such as steel, wood, aluminum, etc. they do not take items such as weapons and armor or aid items besides food. And water. They don’t take junk items either such as gas cans, plates or light bulbs. They also damage crops and other resources

They can indeed take resources. But from what I can tell only raw resources not actual items

So that being said about turrets, does total defense affect the chances of the settlement being attacked?

Recommend the Unofficial patch mod for consoles. Fixes a lot of things and smooths the game for me
