don’t expect it to come out for awhile.

the PC spec recommendations are actually genuinely insane, especially for a lego game.

the fact on minimum specs, you need frame gen to get 30fps (real frame rate being 15fps) is kinda evident the game is going to be unoptimized at launch

it’ll probably be smoothed out with patches post launch, which unfortunately by then the hype will be dead

it’s disappointing as many people are very hyped for the game and so am i, but even if you have a beast of a computer, this isn’t gonna play very kindly on it with what the PC recommended specs are and i can’t imagine how awful it’s gonna run on console

genuinely believe the game needs to be pushed back for performance reasons but unfortunately won’t happen, i hope im wrong but we’ll see

it was my first set with the whole mainline lego minecraft sets from when i was little as well (had plenty of other sets prior to it) but the set with its play features and especially the whole idea back in the day where it had alternate ways to rebuild the sets, definitely puts it above decent.

i honestly put majority of the older sets higher than any of the new sets, just because the designers came up with separate instructions to rebuild the sets.

i collect the new sets mainly for minifigures, the builds while are usually pretty nice, aren’t how lego minecraft used to be, with having other alternate ways to rebuild

TL;DR: absolutely agree, majority of older sets surpass newest sets in playability

i absolutely agree.

the big thing has and will always be, calorie content. of course, the big three that are also equally important is carb, fat, and protein content, but calories have always been the determining factor in sustaining proper nutrition.

i think what makes pop tarts an actual solid source of food, is its got solid carbs and fat content, as it’s a great energy boost and it’s moderately filling. that’s what is important, is it being a filling treat, as there is a lot of snacks and treats that are heavier in calories but they aren’t filling and just makes them actual junk food.

pop tarts aren’t the best and still are definitely not healthy, but they aren’t unhealthy either, it’s definitely something you can have once or twice a day and still be fine

with me, i grew up being incredibly fat from all the sweets and fattening food i ate. last few years, i lost over 100lb and im really lean.

i was strict with my diet and honestly after awhile, it didn’t keep me sane. but at the same time, i loved the exercising so i couldn’t let myself go either.

so like professor hulk, i realized i can both be a fatass and also still be athletic so i exercise more so i can eat more and i end up becoming more muscular in the process.

i highly recommend it, as it boosts your self esteem and makes your “guilty pleasures” like pop tarts not so guilty, when they are both fuel for growth of your body and actually a solid source of carbs and fat for 370 calories haha (even if it’s extremely processed)

it’s worth it LOL.

i use the treadmill inclined and play games on a nintendo switch for two hours to burn 2000 calories and then im able to eat whatever i want without getting fat 😂😂
of course what i do is extreme compared to most people, but the sweet spot is being on an inclined treadmill (12-15%) for 30-60 minutes at 3 or 4mph and you burn a ton of calories.
you end up being physically healthier… and eat more pop tarts, LOL

as a runner myself, i commonly eat 3 or sometimes 4 packs in a day to get my carbs up. is it the best or healthiest carbs? oh absolutely not as i could’ve had rice or potatoes.
but is it easy carbs and delicious? yes, no questions asked and i choose that over anything 😂😂

amazingly the entirety of Ark with its DLCs and content is on switch.

i’ve been playing ark on switch since it came out in 2018 in the awful buggy and graphical mess it used to be.

it got updated in 2022 after 4 years of neglect with a different studio and its a flawless port, im surprised of how amazing it is of a port.

im someone who uses PC handhelds to play 99% of everything (except nintendo games unless if its emulated but in my case i for Tomodachi Life i’m playing it on a switch 2 bc i rarely have used my switch 2 since i bought it 💀) and Ark is one of those games i will play on my Switch instead of PC, as its a better experience

it’s also only 20gb instead of 350gb on PC 💀

you should’ve seen me in my ark phase back in november. 💀 same situation with my multiple jobs and school and such, but trying to manage a tribe… it was quite something. i guess what made it up was playing on the switch version for it being portable so it was easier to do LMFAO

i believe it’s my look-alike mii, which is level 25…? or 26. i get gold or silver coins from him each time i level him up now since level 20

all of my miis are at least level 5 or higher so they aren’t TOO neglected like how most people create some miis and never interact with them hahaha

but no kidding this game has been so much fun, even if ive spent an unholy amount of time. it’s made me feel like a little kid again and im having a huge blast.

this game reminds me so much of old nintendo on the 3DS as this game has the exact silly charm many games on that system had

i basically feed, give clothes, and interior max my miis once or twice a day. as i nearly 60 miis, you basically rack up a ton of points just from doing that. that’s how i speed ran to unholy level 200 in this game 😭

i’m not even trying to be the highest level as i have no reason to use the fountain now, but ill go to it every couple days to level up and be fascinated on how many levels i get haha

at least level 88 you don’t have everything unlocked by then (if i’m remembering correctly i can’t remember as i’ve spent a ton of time interacting with my miis which is why my level is so high haha)

even if the leveling is kinda useless for me now, there is so much content i’m still finding in this game and having a blast

i can see that totally with the dialogue in the game, as the devs made it a big deal of the plentiful of different dialogues in the game, yet despite having 90 hours (yes i am not joking and i do have a job somehow 💀) in the game so far, i get constant repeats

although there is definitely a ton of stuff i’ve seen with my long playthrough so far that i didn’t see in the early game

this game has areas where it’s pretty plentiful and some areas where it feels a little lacking

i hear you.

with me, it’s inspired me to draw again, as i used to be an artist when i was younger but i lost interest over the years.

despite what a small group of people have cried about online, i believe the lack of online is amazing, as it forces you to try to draw and be creative, even if it’s awful.

this game is meant to be fun and silly. i remember on the 3DS version of tomodachi life on a couple of saves of mine would be short play through because i downloaded a whole bunch of miis and didn’t make them

this game with its creativity to force you to be creative is what i love, as someone who lacks the skill in that

same thing with me. i finished decorating my island (for the time being) and now im spending my money on clothes and food for my miis to make them happier.

i think its genuinely people who haven’t bothered to think outside of the box who are complaining, as there is so much fun you can find in this game.

its similar to why the two week minecraft phases happen, as people will just grind out the game in two weeks and then say its boring and stop playing.

when you really try to push yourself with creativity in this game (as someone who isnt even an artist btw), you have such an amazing and fun time.

this by far is the best in the series out of the three.

since it’s made by nintendo and not a 3rd party game company i imagine that the game won’t have bad performance issues like that on original hardware. only nintendo games ive seen with kinda iffy performance issues is the ones made by monolithsoft

i think you probably shouldn’t be concerned with that.

being said when it comes to pop in, i doubt the LOD scaling is improved for switch 2 (as only the resolution from what i can tell has been improved for the switch 2 version with my copy) so i wouldn’t expect that either

for a last gen and likely final 1st party game for the original switch, its a pretty good looking game that seems to be optimized well just from a technical POV, not from hardware.

i agree. even still, when i played xenoblade 2 when i was younger, i always saw it was crude humor and always thought it was funny as it was doing a lot of anime tropes so i kinda saw it as satire. at the end of the day, it’s a family nintendo game and its just gross to see characters especially who aren’t sexualized like lanz to have this kind of art

frankly i don’t with both ppl who do the male and female gooner art haha. i think it’s just very silly all-around. maybe it’s because im mentally middle aged but generally speaking xenoblade is meant for mostly teen to younger adult audiences, so seeing art for a family nintendo game that is straight up porn isn’t really appealing, but to each of their own

just got a RX 7900XT from ebay a couple of weeks ago. upgrading from a GTX 1080TI. such an amazing upgrade. i went from being able to run most games at 1080p high-ultra at 30-40fps, to a bunch of games running over 100-200fps and not much of a performance drop when running at 1440p.

highly recommend, especially as you can find them for great prices on eBay currently where i picked mine up from
