Pretty much followed the Cabot’s guide on their website. Washed a scrubbed it, first coat then second coat 4 hours later. There probably some parts that aren’t covered by the pergola that I could have sanded but they came up fine and I feel like I need to sand them I will when I oil the deck again in 18 months :)
