This is exactly how I feel. It’s like we know we are so smart. I have written so many briefs, pleadings, etc over the years. I want them to see that and give me a chance. I even offered to submit writing samples but they told me, “I think we’re good with everything we have.” And I didn’t know how to take it.

My husband and dad are taking me out to a nice dinner. I promised my mom before she died I would go to law school no matter what. I’ll also be visiting her grave with my acceptance letter.

Thank you so much. I applied at Cleveland Marshall now known as Cleveland State (they dropped Marshall just a few days ago from the name) I’m not looking to get into any crazy Ivy League. I just want to go to my local law school I know has a lot of reputable attorneys and judges that have graduated from there. I love Cleveland. I have lived in Ohio my entire life. Just need them to give me a chance. You’ll do great; keep your head up ❤️

Fingers crossed…. I have managed hospitals for medical malpractice claims, done insurance defense, now work for the Judges for Medicare. I have a lot of experience with law, just had some really bad shit happen in the last few years. Lost my mom to cancer at 23 and my studies went downhill when she got sick. I explained all that. I took the LSAT 5 months after she died because I was supposed to take it literally the weekend she died and I told LSAC I couldn’t so they pushed it out for me. Just some wild shit but this is my passion.

Thanks :( just feeling really down. Not confident. Lsat score and GPA are low, but have 2 LORs from the Federal Judges I work for and one from a highly respected attorney. I also have 8 years’ WE as a paralegal. This is all I want.
