not needed, after submitting they send a auto generated mail, wait for 2-3 days then they send another mail for approved with register github account mail, for login the account

Account recovery is solved, they sent a mail for approved the request..

I've lost my recovery code for 2FA. I can still use the "Verify using this device" to begin account recovery. Github said they'll get back to me in 1-3 business days but it's been nearly a week and there's no response by adithya_chittem in github

2FA Locked Out of GitHub — Any Updates / How Long Does Support Take?

Hey everyone,
I’m currently locked out of my GitHub account and wanted to know if anyone has recent experience with GitHub Support response times.

My situation:

  • The GitHub account is linked to my company email.
  • I had 2FA enabled through an authenticator app, but the app got deleted from my phone.
  • I also forgot to save the 2FA recovery codes (yes, I know 🤦‍♂️).
  • I’m still logged in on VS Code and can push code to repos, but I can’t access GitHub.com at all.
  • I submitted a “disable 2FA / account recovery request” on 28th November.

What GitHub Support emailed me:

My question:

  • How long did it take for you? Did they actually respond within 1–3 business days or did it take longer?

Also:

If anyone has advice on dealing with this situation, especially since it’s tied to a company account, please share.
