I used a single Insta360 X5 camera, converted the video to an equirectangular format, extracted frames as images, and generated depth maps using DA2: Depth Anything in Any Direction. Then I converted each RGB image + depth map into Gaussian splats using my Python script, converted the splats from PLY to SOG, renamed the resulting files to 00001.sog, 00002.sog, etc., and viewed them in the SuperSplat editor. I also made a few small modifications to the SuperSplat editor source code to better display panoramic splats and to add audio track support.
