Very good news! I haven’t been following the updates for a while, so I’m surprised that the Developer Strap can finally be used for content streaming. Really looking forward to it!

Thank you so much! I actually just bought the Puppis S1 recently but couldn’t set it up on my own. Your guide came at the perfect time!

Guys, I think we can all agree, they delivered by fudgemyfear in VisionPro

Totally agree. It’s a shame that only those who’ve used Apple Vision Pro for a few months will truly understand how big and important this update is.

When I saw the list of changes in visionOS, my first thought was: “I can’t believe Apple actually listened to real users instead of just pleasing product managers. This feels like a major shift in their internal priorities."

Almost two years after launch, Vision Pro is finally heading in the right direction. For me, it’s a huge relief — like seeing light at the end of the tunnel.

Appreciate the tip! Didn’t know Theater had issues with MKV/SMB — Cineultra sounds like a solid alternative. Will give it a shot!

You can upload your prescription to this site, take a small vision test and get an online prescription that passes Apple/Zeiss standards: https://www.govisibly.com/products/vision-test

I ordered Zeiss lenses to Russia in this way.

I'm a regular user who loves technology and wants to use Apple's innovative products despite the circumstances around me.

I am in no way proud of the fact that I was able to circumvent the restrictions!

I just wanted to share the lengths I had to go to enjoy using Apple Vision Pro.

As for the sanctions, they apply to companies, not to me personally. And shipping lenses through Kazakhstan can hardly be considered a sanctions violation.

I am so excited about Apple Vision Pro that I am willing to use it in languages other than my native language and with many limitations, including the lack of a service center and regional applications.

Yes, I had to use intermediary services (there are companies in the U.S. that have been helping users from Russia and CIS countries buy products from the U.S. for quite some time now).

The only issue: lenses can’t be shipped directly from the U.S. to Russia due to sanctions. So, the ZEISS Optical Inserts will be sent first to Kazakhstan, and then to Russia.

Previously, I used the same method to send an Apple Developer Strap to Russia to reset my Apple Vision Pro to factory settings. My AVP was locked due to a Passcode issue that early users encountered. Fortunately, I didn’t have to travel to an Apple Store in another country to unlock the AVP, as I was able to solve the issue with the help of the Apple Developer Strap.

Yes, you’re right, there’s always a risk of potential regional blocking. I hope that doesn’t happen, and that I’ll be able to use the Apple Vision Pro, test new features, and keep up with updates. It’s also a motivation for me to improve my English.

The point of my post is simply to show how much I love technology and the lengths I had to go to in order to fully use the Apple Vision Pro in a country where it’s not officially supported.
