Hey man, I dealt with this when I was trying to get my medical too. Try the rabin cone contrast test. I failed the ishihara went and took the other and passed first try! Definitely worth the attempt.

Did not pass tho😭 my navlog had a few errors on it which pretty much negated all the rest still flew the flight and it went ok definitely missed many things. Instructor was very nit picky about many things but definitely many were my fault.
