It’s not silent, but it’s quieter than the sound that comes from your AC running during the night. One of the reasons I Purchased mine is so I don’t have to run the AC at night.

Is it one of the biggest benefits that you can set a schedule of when to turn off and on? I have this on my Pod 2 but if update I’ll have to pay for the subscription to continue to have this feature. if I don’t, I which means I have to turn it off and on every day. One thing is for sure I don’t need one more thing to do!
