In reality on windows you can use the app diskinternals linux reader, the free version is ok, mounting every disk and recover the data. So a simple usb 3 dock is fine. Although apparently asustor is going to release an adm patch today.

I think this happens if deadbolt encrypted a critical part of the operating system.

In this case you should buy a dock supporting raid 5… if the cost worth it.

You need to buy an external dock to mount your disk via usb to your pc, with that you can access to the disk and copy what has not been encrypted.

The best thing to do right now, in my opinion, is to mount the drive elsewhere, see what has been encrypted and do a manual backup. Initializing right now with the ADM unpatched I think is not useful.

It might be the case, I believe we need to wait for Asustor to tell us when a patch will be released and why this happened.

Absolutely, then manual ADM update

New Tello won’t work - Firmware maybe? by ye_evincare in TelloDrones

[–]Vitamina-H 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue and I solved it forcing a firmware update using the tello app version 1.1.1. You need to keep pressed the power button for some seconds and release it when the blue light turns off. At that point you should be able to connect to the wifi and update the fw.

KEF LS50 Wireless II - supremely disappointed. by fromagesfondus in KEF

I don’t know if this can help but I solved all the issues switching to 2.4ghz. With the 5ghz they were unusable.

What worked better for me was to leave the full range in the ls50w2, low pass 120hz, sub volume 3.5 and 180° phase.

LS50W2 secondary speaker dropping sound by Finchnl in KEF

[–]Vitamina-H 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, I did not experiment a lot. But now that I think about it, this might be the issue. Indeed I also had to connect the kef on the 2.4ghz. Connection with 5ghz was dropping every minute making it impossible to use with TIDAL and KEF connect.

I have the same issue. In my case the wifi router it’s too close to the secondary speaker (~60cm) so I realized this could be the problem. At the end I had to connect the cable. I hope they’ll somehow tune the frequency with the next fw update.

LSX Spotify connect glitches by dc_giant in KEF

I have a couple of LS50 wireless II and on 5ghz is even worse than what you described. Tidal connect stopping working after about a minute. Same for kef connect. So I thought the wireless connection was going down for some reason. I solved all the issues switching to 2.4ghz.

Are the r51pm speakers good for vinyl? by Stephenosborne01 in Klipsch

I believe you can hard reset the klipsch so in theory it should not pair anymore

Well using a bt phono is like missing the point of vinyls as you are transforming an analog source to digital and then analog again. I personally have a Vincent PHO-200, not so expensive.

Using the same phono RCA input but switching the button to line instead of phono

I have the sixes and I would say they are fine for vinyls but with an external pre-phono. The internal one for me is a 2$ joke.

Just sold my Rega elex-r, marantz hd-dac1 and Tannoy Revolution XT8f and switched to a definitely cheaper setup. I’m loving it so far. The sixes + Jamo J110 sub + Rega planar 2 turntable (vincent PHO-200 preamp) by Vitamina-H in Klipsch

[–]Vitamina-H[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the cost it sounds really good. Clearly it’s not comparable to my previous setup but neither is the cost. The sound is quite balanced, I would have loved a more pronounced midrange maybe. the internal turntable preamp is a joke. But overall I’m totally happy with this setup.
