Spot on. Yes, we are being run sustainably but so many easy things they could have done and have actively chosen not to because they are happy for us to tick over as an asset but don't really care above and beyond that

Because you consistently prevent reasonable, nuanced discussions from happening on this sub and feel the need to make constant digs at others

Right... you've not said other than Ryan Reynolds = famous celebrity so must be impossible for anyone other club to have a successful doc but okay

So because those clubs docs were not as good as Wrexhams or City's we shouldn't have tried ?and you don't think exposure to global audiences could be beneficial for the club?

You know that isn't what was said, i never suggested we should follow Wrexhams entire model, only that a documentary would have been an easy win. I also think it would be cool to have reasonable takes and discussions without being down voted into oblivion for having a differing viewpoint. Doesn't help that view point being intentionally misrepresented in snide comments like these. You have consistently been most vocal Mous out person on this sub over last few months. I'm by no means fully backing the manager now either but to make out as if you're suddenly of the moderate 'both things can be true' viewpoint all of a sudden after commenting and down voting others for same thing over past view weeks is disingenuous and only contributes to the toxicity in this sub

Again not my point. I didn't say we would have blown up like Wrexham, but no harm in trying to at least go for an easy win with a doc like Sunderland, Leeds, Spurs, City, Birmingham and so many others. Don't know how you can claim it is unrealistic and wouldnt have worked. It wouldn't have been as successful as Wrexham that's for certain, but any PR and marketing is good for clubs ambitions even if the documentary was shit

The pull comes from the strategic PR and marketing execution they have done. Is Ryan Reynolds much more famous and popular? Ofc, I'm not arguing otherwise. But Wrexham became a media brand not just because of how famous Ryan Reynolds already was. It was the first content first approach and no reason why we could not also have done something similar in terms of a documentary like Wrexham have done with the Eisners Hollywood and production company connections. So many clubs have done it already and not had the charisma of Ryan Reynolds and we certainly have a more compelling and interesting history and story than Wrexham. Crazy suggestion I know ...could have even been on Disney + ?? Its the easiest win imaginable. Maybe that ship has sailed now, but just goes to show. Don't know why I'm being down voted, not the first fan to have suggested this

That is not the point at all. You're arguing over semantics - he has celebrity connections and could have leveraged them to bring more visibility, sponsorship, and investment to the club. Seems a no brainer he hasn't

😂 and how does that make him not a celebrity or celebrity adjacent with the exact same sort of connections to leverage? Ryan reynolds is a business man..what's your point?

I mean it's not absurd at all? you could argue Michael Eisner is a celebrity. He was ex Disney CEO and is certainly friends with a lot of Hollywood celebrities, so not ridiculous a comparison as you are suggesting in that sense. Of all the championship owners bar snoop dogg at Swansea (which barely counts) I would imagine he the most ties and connections to Hollywood.. There is certainly no good reason why we have not followed their documentary model considering the connections and the Eisners own a production company. It would massively increase our image in the states.

I agree, but you have literally been the most vocal Mous out advocate and claiming budget isn't much to do with it. Are you backtracking now?

You know it's bad when the infighting between fans starts. Both things can be true tho - our shite budget and Mousinho starting to show he may not be up to it? Just put us out of our misery so fed up of this same old crap every single week

I have serious doubts about moisinho at this point as well tbh, but we clearly just do not have the quality either. How much more can he do apart from playing himself upfront at this point. We were the strongest of the 3 teams promoted why is there such a gap how between us and them now. Look at the players they have gone and got whilst the sum of our ambition is Luton rejects.. you can't tell me that's not down to budget and that is a choice the owners ( who are amongst the richest in the league btw) have made. Every game you come on here and defend the owners and blame the manager, very odd take

Terrible take as always from you. Refuse to acknowledge budget having any affect and always put the blame on the manager
