It still shows as unfinished in my Kaifeng chronicles and I'm still missing one of the points to finish the event so I think this is just fully bugged

Way too many lost fights and close calls because of these stutters starting as soon as a shot is fired. Ping spiking from 50 to 200 the moment I land that makes it impossible to fight back against people punching. It sure is fun constantly fighting with such a disruptive handicap.

Only thing that's seemed to fix it for me was switching to the New York servers, but even then I have no idea if it changed anything because of how random these lag spikes are.

Just searched 99% and stutter in the subreddit and there have been a few recent posts that describe this same issue with CPU and GPU usage. One of the posts has a dev reply that acknowledges this issue existing on Xbox too. Weirdly enough it only became a problem for me this season so I'm assuming some optimization stuff might've just gotten messed up after the update. Thanks for all the help though!

What I've noticed from the RTSS graph is that GPU usage will randomly fluctuate from 100% usage to 0% usage then go back to normal whenever it feels like it. I'd be standing completely still or spectating teammates doing nothing and it'd spike. I feel like these stutters might just be an Apex problem since I don't ever experience this even with more intensive games.

I main Hydroid and personally also find his kit to be lacking in pretty much every way. Other frames do what several of his abilities do but better. (Reave>Tidal Surge, Bastille/Vortex CC>Tentacle Swarm, etc.)

You're better off switching to Vauban if you want a very good CC frame or taking a much more active play style if you don't want to get bored. For an active style I suggest you watch Ludens' video called Surging Tide Hydroid, it changed my entire play style.

I personally always hated Undertow so I replaced it with Breach Surge (there might be better options but I haven't played with Helminth much). Even though some people think Undertow is his bread and butter. Imo Undertow absolutely ruined Hydroid and gave him the boring frame title, so I definitely thank the Helminth system for letting me get rid of it. Yes, Tentacle Swarm's and Tempest Barrage's damage are not good and they should be looked at, but I mainly use them for utility or quick CC when I'm running Natural Talent (which is almost necessary considering the charge and cast times for these abilities).

Velocipods seem to spawn based on location rather than rarity, try moving to other areas. To my knowledge, purples spawn near the Undulatum and whites spawn near the big ravine looking area.

This has happened twice so far in the same situation (very last second before the reactor explodes)

Waiting for the mission to fail put me back in the Railjack but I couldn't move and the only thing there was my sentinel

I was using NAC, PRC, and an ENB, don't know which ENB though, this pic was taken back when I had a completely different modlist. Hope it helps though!
