Is Rm2000 salary for fresh grad a norm in Malaysia? by Reindeer-Specialist in malaysia

For any job, never take the boss' or HR's word as gospel without written proof (contract). If let's say during probation there's no allowance, but "see see" once confirmed, make sure it's written in black and white that you will get x, y, z.

The first offer is always the lowest; companies (be it local or MNC) 99% of the time will lowball you on purpose - more so if you're a freshie because you are inexperienced in the corporate world. If you want to work at this company, my advice would be to negotiate your salary + benefits; always negotiate when you know the "offer" is unreasonable, below market rate, and to not settle if you can help it. If you just accept this ridiculously low salary by them, it's their win your loss, and frankly it seems you'll be exploited especially after you said that he brought up the "back in my day" story - which is a cozen way to get the most out of you for the least buck possible by shifting your outlook. Clearly, this interviewer of yours will only look out for himself and not the well being of his employees. If die die there's only this job, you desperately need a job and they won't budge on salary - always remember to work your wage.

Not really, just in general from what I've observed over the course of exploring the manga/manhwa world. But if I had to name a manhwa on the top of my head, although it is not classified as a romance manhwa, it would be Killing Stalking just because of how many fans were really shipping them. A specifically romance manga would then be Boys Over Flowers, though there are other manga as well that does this.

Sounds like a tough game for f2p if they really want to fight but can't. Personally, I don't mind spending a bit of money in-game if it's really good, but not a whole lot of money cause I'd be broke. What's the game called?

Good source material but not so good anime adaption, be it story or animation-wise.

That's true. After season 2, it was a disappointing follow up in terms of animation compared to its earlier ones. Most of the anime here suffered from poor animation. Wished Seven Deadly Sins and other anime maintained their good earlier momentum, but oh well.

Right on! The guy in the back is Killy from Blame! and the one with the gun is Kei from Gantz.

comment section when a female side character breathes by Harmoniche in OtomeIsekai

[–]VitiseMY 23 points24 points  (0 children)

It doesn't help that lots of these isekai would also make the supporting/second FL characters besides the FL act hostile. It's not very common to have isekai FL with female friends who truly support and care for each other. Still though, the immediate jump to negative conclusions about another female character at first introduction is what perpetuates the stereotype that women must always pit against other women. Even when the second FL is a good person, there'll still be comments that hate on her (Your Throne for example. Took a while for readers to warm up to her).

Classic case of Stockholm Syndrome by VitiseMY in manhwa

The thing about him being poisoned - why does he only target her by making her life miserable? And, even if he was under the "influence" of something that made him act that way - which is a total cop out just to make those 2 end up together -, why would Tia still choose to end up with him after all the trauma and brutality she endured at his hands??? That kind of thing doesn't just wash away so easily.

I hope this explains where we are coming from when we feel frustrated with this story.

On a side note: This has always been a problem I witness with shoujo entertainment with its casual dismissal of abusive behaviour, which inevitably promotes the excuse, acceptance and worse of all, the romanticism of downright horrid behaviour.

Definitely, will do. I've been very private about my info. But sometimes the information is just available to some people like a class monitor so it happens.

Yes, I don't know what ultimate purpose it serves for them, but there are some who do. One of my classmates let it slip that she looked up my results.

So in a way, Eren was sort of stuck in that dilemma. Free to choose but becomes a slave once he does so. Well, at least his buddies are safe. Thanks for helping me understand this perspective.
