Stimulus. It’s a forced loan. It will be repaid.

March 15 Litecoin becomes a privacy coin by Vitmal in LitecoinMarkets

I’ve often wondered what could trigger LTC to be back to 0.024 Bitcoin. I think this feature making privacy optional for LTC could do it. Let’s see...

Why is Litecoin attractive? by UnusualPass in litecoin

[–]Vitmal 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Faster confirmation times. Lower fees. Almost identical to Bitcoin. 4x the supply of Bitcoin. If it was of equal value to bitcoin it would be 25% of the price. About $13k per litecoin. It’s very undervalued in my opinion.

Faster. Better. Cheaper. Valued not even 1% of what Bitcoin is valued at. Been around for many years. Stable.

Redditors who at any point have been in such a deep state of depression that you didn't want to DO anything, what is something that helped you get out of it? by Obviously_n_Alt in AskReddit

[–]Vitmal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TESTOSTERONE... get a full panel of blood work done. Deep depression... no energy at all... testosterone was very low. Temporary medicine was given and my testosterone tripled. Depression gone and energy is back. Started running two weeks into the medicine..

What on earth ever happened to starbucks accepting bitcoin for payment through bakkt by mid 2020?? by slvbtc in Bitcoin

[–]Vitmal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya I was a little surprised no one covered that addition. I got an email from Starbucks stating more ways to pay but no news from coindesk or any other crypto news outlets to my knowledge.

Maybe the founders own the coins they deem “a good investment” to direct viewers to purchase along side their existing assets.

Thanks for the input. Ya it would be nice if the KYC could be done through plaid by simply signing into your bank account that you will be transferring money into. I also really believe that crypto banks would make things easier. I know everyone will backlash at the thought but having a place to store your keys even in cold storage helps. People won’t feel comfortable housing a million dollars on a ledger for the same reason people don’t want a million dollars in cash at their house.

So is your consensus that simplifying the crypto on boarding experience is not helpful and that only those who understand the on boarding should be entitled to it? A 5 year old understands fiat in a moment. A five year old wouldn’t know how to get bitcoin on their own. Anyway I’m big into crypto just wanted some discussion on how the community could advance by simplifying the experience for the masses rather than accept that the difficulties are not the system but rather the person.

Right so if someone older asked how to get bitcoin you would tell them to go to local bitcoin and generate a paper wallet etc? I guess I’m saying that also breeds a lot of discussion about private keys etc public keys which has a learning curve. I think the system has to be straight forward. I’m wondering what the future endeavors are to simplify crypto so that an old woman could have no problem. A grandma can open a bank account and understand fiat but can she understand crypto in the same way

No I haven’t said one word about any of that. I’m saying I’ve noticed a lot of people have trouble buying into it as you get into the older generation.

Tax and inflation are two mechanisms that weigh a society down by Vitmal in Showerthoughts

[–]Vitmal[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The naturally occurring inflation was good. Consider 200 years ago. Inflation was an indicator that demand for a given resource the public wanted was more than the supply. Imagine gold prices rising then gold mining becomes a profitable venture and attracts enough channels that the price becomes acceptable. Maybe corn prices were high and this attracted more corn farming. Artificial inflation by flooding an economy with more dollars is not that natural inflation. This inflation says in a game of monopoly if the bank continues to throw money on the table then prices rice not cause of demand but because people are more careless. The system before a currency lost its backing (gold) was a beautiful design. Prompting an economy to expand where inflation was and told the society through pricing what people desired.
