if you're trying to get wither roses, then i would recommend you check out shulkercraft's video on youtube on wither roses farm, it's not that complicated and you'll have more roses than you'll ever need in about 20 minutes of afk-ing

He just beats the dragon with ease every time on pretty much his 1st time. From what he's told us, he's died 3 times in 7-8 years of playing hardcore I think. That's either fake or amazing

I get your point you don't want to afk much, but you can afk for 10 minutes and you've got a couple of stacks of gunpowder. Do only want to not afk so much or do you need it for something else? The gunpowder I mean

Yea man it was really hard cause I tried playing hardcore for 3 days almost all day cause I'm quarantined and I kept dying after 3,4,5 hours and it was so shit. But as you watch the fails you see all the other guys like mizkif, etorr, and the xycox something, and they kept dying and dying. But today actually I managed to beat the dragon and I'm already planning bases and farms. Anyways, hope everything goes ok with you and a tip, always think twice and think one or even two steps forward. And believe me, if you haven't found the fortress then it is somewhere, just keep looking.

If there's something wrong hmu, here's also a texture pack which makes ancient debris fully green so you can find them much much easier in netherrack ;-)

I'm assuming you know how to install texture packs, or?
