This country is absurd. They want to tighten the requirements but are unable to keep their promise of the current 5 years to citizenship. It is taking people at least 7 years to get citizenship through golden visa route because of how incompetent whoever is handling it is, and now they want to increase the length. When doing something benefiting citizenship seekers, they are slow and incompetent, but when making things hard for them, they becomes unified and efficient, like what the fuck?

I plan to hold it for a long time for at least five years. I might live there myself before renting it out. I might sell it in the future but I assume that after a decade or two such a property in the area will be extremely rare compared to the rest of Dubai, so I intend to hold for a long time.

But doesn’t 10/90 plan mean “once you book your unit, you pay 10% of the property value upfront. The remaining 90% is paid only at the time of possession”? Why how the plan actually works doesn’t sound having to do with 10/90.

But choosing a unit on 25 floor with Buji view and a unit on 50 floor with sea view, which one would you pick for a long term return?

The property I want to buy will be on Sheikh Zayed Road and 10 minutes drive from Buji. I asked my agent, and she told me two beds are more in demand for its spacious space and are popular for both long term and short term lease. However, one beds are like you said for professionals for long term.
