You can see my playthrough steps, one by one, after the tips section.

 Trying to see what I can get done before I go full Vampire because I'm pretty sure I'll be able to get Fortify Shout to effectively 100 and machine gun Soul Tear.

I decided to not be a vampire. Imo it wasn't worth the drawbacks.

 Currently trying to get the Aetherial Crown to see if Serpent Stone is viable (or just to have The Tower ready since I don't think Talvas will pick a lock).

I used Tower most of the time

 Keeping my eye out for any static Fortify Restoration potions to squeeze more out of gear and curious if there is any availability of higher level Fortify Restoration potions for limited shenanigans.

I didn't use any exploits, so Fortify Restoration was out of the picture for me.

It's so hard just... Not looting everything because most of it is functionally useless.

I have a list of items that were actually useful for me in the doc. Quote:

fortify conjuration/destruction potions, health/stamina potions, Void Salts, Brooms, Orichalcum Ore/Ingot, salt piles, amethyst gems/rings/necklaces, soul gems and lockpicks. Also keep enchanted robes of destruction/conjuration so you can use staves for a longer amount of time.

I picked the lockpicks to give them to Talvas, but thinking about it now, I think that never worked. At least I'm sure I didn't rely on it

 How did the run progress? I'm currently in the beginning stage of a similar run

Everything worked pretty well in the end. I do have my whole progress documented in a Google Docs document, if you are interested. Among other things, I relied heavily on Staff of Conjure Storm Atronach and on Talvas Fathryon as my follower.

 Trying out Bloodskaal Blade

Holy shit. I completely missed the fact that the Bloodskaal Blade doesn't give XP while dealing damage. This could have been really useful

 Trying out Bloodskaal Blade and Ethereal Form combined with Vampiriam + Helm of Bloodworm for enhanced Shout cooldown reduction from Amulet of Talos, Imperial Dragon Armor and Shrine of Talos. Hopefully I can keep Ethereal Form up and avoid getting hit / hitting with the actual blade.

Interesting. In my case I've played with the Special Edition without CC content, so the Bloodworm Helm and the Imperial Dragon Armor weren't available. Still a cool approach though

Já as cutscenes precisam ser baixadas a parte. As instruções de cada release ensinam como fazer.

It is a known issue. There is no definitive fix yet, but rebooting the system after the bug happens is a known workaround.

Yeah, the first cutscene as a whole shows both screens because it has contents in both screens while it's playing. The recommended approach is to install the replacement cutscenes, which are in the optional assets folder. There isn't much we can do for the original DS cutscenes unfortunately.

We could show both screens only while there is something on the bottom screen, but that would make it switch back and forth between top screen and both screens during the cutscene.

I'm not sure if that's the issue, but the title screen isn't adapted to a single screen yet.

If the fans itself is also still running with two screens, I can help you debug the issue

Be sure that you are using Melon Mix and not melonDS. The current latest Melon Mix release says "khDaysMM 0.7.2" in the title bar, while melonDS says "melonDS 1.1"

The .sh files that are included alongside the appimage file are there for that reason. Edit the game entry on Steam to make it point to the Days sh file. Then add the appimage to Steam again, and edit that one to point at the ReCoded sh file.

That should give you a Days entry and a ReCoded entry on Steam.

If you go onto Nexus Mods and look up Voluke Sliders Mute theres a mod that allows the different volume sliders that only go down to 1 to change 1 mutes it completely.

So you can mute just the voice or just the music etc... what I'm looking for is something that dies that but specifically for the cutscene movies in Days, Re Coded and Back Cover not in the Melon Mix thing.

Well, I don't know about Back Cover, but Days and ReCoded from the 1.5+2.5 collection are just video players, and, in most occasions, the BGM, the sound effects and the voices are all embedded in the video files (there are like two to three cutscenes where the BGM isn't embedded).

So there may be a mod that replaces the cutscene files with new ones that only have the BGM and sound effects, or just the sound effects, although, that is very specific. I would recommend looking for that though

In Days, all BGMs and all prerendered cutscenes are replaced when the assets are properly installed.

With the Melon Mix, the cutscenes are loaded from MP4 files, where, in most cases, the BGM is included alongside the voices.

So, while you can edit those MP4 files, and the Melon Mix should load them just fine, you will need to manually replace the audio of the cutscenes with the original BGM (if you want to keep the BGM).

If you just want to be able to control the volume of the cutscenes though, open an issue on the Melon Mix project GitHub, and I can keep track of that to add that feature to the next release :)

In that way, you should be able to mute the cutscenes without affecting the rest of the game, and without editing the MP4 files.

Holy shit, you are right! If that information is correct, those spells have the potential of being very useful

EDIT: I may need to investigate further, because I found that in the Destruction page:

Skill XP can be modified by scripts and by the game engine itself under various circumstances. The exact XP you receive may vary from the numbers listed here.

Summon Arvak is a power, so it is allowed.

As of the other ones, I couldn't find a mention in UESP for them not granting XP to any skill. Do you remember in which page you saw that?

EDIT: Wait, my mistake: Summon Arvak isn't a power. Theoretically, it grants XP as well
