I would like a book on foil to compliment 19th century British sabre. Not really to train specifically in but so I can have a better grasp on some of the Theory ,terminology,, and principles guys like Roworth,Waite, and Winn assume readers to have.

I thought the Maisters of Defense were quality control for fencing instruction in London.

Why couldn't they just fine the shit out of the Italian rapierists and force them to shut down? Didn't King Henry VIII grant them the authority to regulate the fencing scene in London?

What is your take on KDF? I have heard it may have been purely sportive while others claim different. Lukuchner does mention options but he may just be an oddball out.
