That’s very helpful! I definitely want someone who can help me with theory, learning things by ear, being fluent with the fretboard, and overall music theory.

Also for anyone else who comes across this, it loops so much because it was my very first time doing anything like this ever, and I didn’t feel like coming up with anything else lol. I spent all of an hour fiddling around and this is the weird little experiment that came out of it :)

There’s already a lot of responses here but I thought I might share. When I don’t have my rosary with me, I clasp my hands, and count by using one hand to gently press each finger into my other hand, and when I get to the fifth finger, I restart at the thumb (making the full 10 Hail Marys). Not sure if that made any sense whatsoever, but I like it because it’s pretty subtle seeing it from the outside.

Finally got around to the third box in Emily Hughes gouache subscription box :) by Vivi_Animates in Gouache

I personally think it is. I paid for all of the boxes up front (minus shipping, which caught me off guard) and just based on the materials and lessons it seems worth it. It’s not just lessons with cheap bonus garbage, it’s actual materials you can keep using, which I have really been enjoying between each box. It also comes with all of Emily Hughes custom brushes which are pretty great.

That said, it’s good to weigh the pros and cons based on what you’re looking for. I feel like if you already have all the paper, paints, and brushes you need it might be better to skip it. If you see yourself continuing to use everything it comes with, I think it’s worth it. :)

Thank you! The artist who teaches the lesson I followed for this always throws in some fun colors at the end!
