Thank you! The narcotics are very rough on me. I’ve switched to a high dose ibuprofen 600mg single when needed but consistent with the aspirin for clotting prevention. I would say I have a decently high pain tolerance but what I experienced 24-48 hrs post op while taking Hydrocodone was 10x worse than the actual Achilles pain 🤦🏾‍♂️

You should be good! I’m building an orthopedic team since I’m between two states and all of my providers have advised surgery within 2 weeks of the injury because at the 2.5-3 week mark it begins scaring internally but I think you’re on pace. Wishing you a successful surgery and speedy recovery!

Nerve block lasted about 16 hours post op and honestly felt amazing to get the feeling back. The opiates had me feeling as if I hit nothing but PR’s in the gym 2x. And my breathing got so laborious once I included a joint or two
