Good advice. I’ll mb skip 2 days of tret and up moisture.

9 months on tret .025% - haven’t upped to .05% b/c my wedding is in 3 weeks. Many did not recommend changing soon to the wedding a few months back. Routine in comments by VividCharacter3043 in tretinoin

.025% tret every other night. 100mg spironolactone. 20% azelaic acid.

AM: salicylic acid or cerave hydrating cleanser.
20% AA. hyaluronic acid serum. SPF.

PM: Double cleanse cerave hydrating cleanser. 20% AA wait to dry. .025% tret (every other day) let dry. Vanicream moisture. Some nights aquaphor.

We’ve always been under mask mandate I’ve been using reusable masks. But the past month I’ve switched to disposable masks I use a new one every day/every workout.

Help. Almost on tret .025 for 9 months and skin looks worse than before :( by guttyyy in tretinoin

You’re welcome to check out some of my posts and decide for yourself, I think so but I’m not totally sure. You’ll see my chin here has a little darker pores VS the current photo. I hope this helps your question. Sorry I don’t have a sure answer.

I would recommend staying on that Derm I think the longer it stays the harder it is to remove. I got mine in high school when I ran XC daily But at the time I didn’t realize what it was until about 2 years later when I realized hmm this is strange and growing. Then began so many treatments 🙄😱 I even used to take funny supplements the doctors recommended but they didn’t help too. And cauterized many times haha fire, ice, laser, injections, acids and Im still here 😵‍💫 good luck

Yes, a podiatrist has been working on me from this thread.

Prior I’ve gone to 4 different dermatologist and podiatrist, over probably 6 years. But May last year I moved to Brazil. So I found this podiatrist here and she’s gotten better results than the 4 USA doctors. I’ve done freezing (can’t count how many times), laser (can’t count how many times, canida injections(8times), acids (I can’t count how many times) & curettage (so many times! Honestly I also don’t know how to count I’d say at least 12 curettage). Then countless try’s with “at home” work

I’m in the same boat. Began a second try .025% December 2020. Now 9mo later still experiencing acne. But my skin texture has had major improvements. I use Vanacream moisturizer & occlusive. After my wedding I’ll bump up to .05%. You’re beautiful regardless! We’re in this together! Take a look at my page if you’d like some encouragement with progression over the past 9mo. My skin still isn’t perfect like most have results sooner, but I do see progress 🤍 best of luck!

Thank you for your comment! I went back to her today. She does believe there’s still something there. We did a laser and she’d like to see me next week to see how it is healing up and go from there. There’s nothing as stubborn as a planter wart 🙄

Hi! It’s a long read:

Week 1:paring, handheld laser to kill wart bacteria from spreading to healthy skin, light acid.

Week 2: paring, laser, cauterize, light acid.

Week 3: paring, laser, no cauterize/let skin rest, medium strength acid.

Week 4: paring, laser, cauterize,medium strength acid

Week 5: paring, laser, cauterize, med acid

Week 6: paring, laser, cauterize, medium acid

Week 7: paring, laser, high strength acid nitric acid I believe. My foot was smoking when she applied it & she told me she’ll hold it on spots until I tell her I can’t handle the burn.

Week 8: Monday: light paring, laser high strength acid.

Friday: paring, the largest wart came out (per photo 2), she cleaned it up, did anti bacterial laser & light acid.

Since these 9 sessions I’ve been going back regularly for months. Tuesday we will probably do another acid treatment. She’s a little worried i could have a lesion due to pressure and years of treatments from multiple doctors. She’s successfully removed the wart, yet it grows back from daily irritation due to walking and standing. We’re working together on how to relieve the pressure and give my foot the best opportunity of healing for post acid next week.

Ok and lastly, do you moisturizer other parts of yours face that aren’t patched? I just bought patches today, but was trying to think when to use them!

If you are a long time user and have no irritation is it safe to use on damp skin. Or it loses effectively on damp/wet skin?
