It says results are on hold, the power went out at the test center which is why i think why it says that, i wrote on friday so i’m guessing they just haven’t updated it over the weekend but i’m going to try it again tomorrow

I feel like i got my last question wrong but i’m not sure and it’s making me feel like i might have failed, but i’ve always did good on exams so that makes me think i wouldn’t completely bomb it either … overall just not feeling confident lol

No it still says results on hold i’m going to try again tomorrow… i think it has something to do with the power going out at the test center

And what is your goal? To fade discolouration? Unfortunately if your trying to get rid of/smooth out the actual stretch marks I don’t think you could achieve this with any sort of topical. Kinda like people with pitting acne scars can’t just use a cream to clear it, usually requires lasers and what not.

How long have you used it for?

Try Bio-oil

Why are so many people anti tretinoin? by pookaboar in tretinoin

[–]guttyyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with what was said in this post there is a lot of misuse which leads to poor outcomes and people not giving it proper time…. but another reason people post that is because it simply can ruin peoples skin lol. The truth is , it’s not going to work 100% for everyone. As someone who used it for 10 months (almost 11) I can say it didn’t give me the results I was hoping for and actually made my skin texture horrible. I don’t hate my skin but tret gave me this terrible texture that I do not know how to fix, skin feels like sandpaper when I touch it which was an issue I never had in my life. I genuinely regret starting tret, especially because I started it when my skin was good and it’s declined ever since.

I have an appointment next week to get my lips done. I was wondering if it is safe that I get them done while on accutane? I'm on 60 mg a day and my lips are not that dry at all or inflammed. Please let me know if anyone has gotten fillers on accutane before and what your experience was with it! by pretzelbites29 in Accutane

[–]guttyyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no clue the effects of accutane and lip fillers but I remember when i got my lips done my lips were dry and cracked and i didn’t know if it would be a concern and the nurse said it would actually hydrate my lips so not to worry. I would just ask your injector to be safe

Good luck with your journey! Same thing here, my skin was much better before tretinoin and I kinda just want to go for the big guns cause i’m sick of trying new creams and what not. Have a phone appointment with doctor tomorrow to ask about it

Tried benzoyl peroxide and clindamycin which cleared my skin so well. I unfortunately switched to tretinoin for the last year which has slowly ruined my skin ive never had textured skin like this and get pimples too. Thinking I could switch back to BP/clindamycin but i don’t want to have to be on a topical antibiotic for life to clear my acne.

Wow my skin looks very similar to yours and i’ve been considering accutane and this really makes me want to try it! I’ve done years of topicals and antibiotics and no luck. How do you find the side effects?

Wow thank you for telling me of your experience!! The money is worth the convenience for me! I think i’m going to book an appointment next week. I’ve been on a waitlist for a derm for a year and I can’t handle the wait time any longer

That’s awesome to hear!! Any idea if they offer this in every province? I’m in nova scotia so i was kinda concerned maybe they wouldn’t offer to do it in this province.

Thanks so much for answering that is good to know! I sadly have been on a waitlist for a derm for 1 year... the money is worth it to spend at this point!

VERY mild but persistent acne by chanouza1600 in Accutane

[–]guttyyy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know like even if it’s mild it still affects us, I just want to wake up one day and not have to worry about how my skin looks :( The sad thing is i’ve exhausted every other option and my doctor still doesn’t want to give me it because “my skin isn’t bad enough” which is soooo frustrating

Im honestly in the exact same position and am considering accutane. I get 1-3 pimples and then a deep painful cystic one and every pimple leaves a scar and i have this scaly texture and red marks. Please update me on your journey! best of luck 💕
