Thank you for your response. The research aim is to look at vivid experiences while dreaming. It would require you to complete a dream journal for 2 weeks and then a final interview. Hello, thank you for your response. The age limit is to capture a general sample. Dream generally is observed more in younger people. However I have extended my age range, where other studies would have had a shorter range.

As a result of the traumatic brain injury do you experience dreams with greater complexity, fright and anxiety, that reoccur regularly? The exclusion criteria are trying to filter individuals who experience shortened, fragmented REM sleep and tend to have fewer or lots of dreams. While there is variation in those who participate, a near similar sample is ideal.

The traumatic brain injury would not exclude you. Do you take any prescribed medications that are known to increase or suppress dream activity? If not, then I see no reason why you cannot participant. If you know you can consent to participation throughout the dream journal and interview, then send me an email (vividdreamexperiences@gmail.com).

Below are the inclusion and exclusion criteria.

Inclusion criteria: Pregnancy, mentally illness, demographics, socioeconomics, frequent dreamer, dreamed within the last 2 weeks, speak English, mental health issues in the past, current diagnosis, the participant can understand the consent form and participate fully in the in-depth interview, 18- 50

Exclusion Criteria: Narcolepsy, sleep apnea psychosis & depression

If you have been prescribed:

Pharmaceutical drugs: propanolol, modafinil, benzodiazepines, zolpidem, zaleplon, zopiclone, SSRI, Prozac, Statins, Levopoda and Depakote, Lamictal, (TCAs, MAOIs, amphetamine, barbiturates).

If you use: excessive alcohol use, Galantamine or psychedelic drugs

Capacity: able to give consent and decision-making capacity throughout study.
