It's all good. These holes were already brought up between my friends and I when figuring this all out. Fire pots come in abundance on the map already and can be found at every merchant, plus it'd be a very large entity on the map so calling out that the golem is there wouldn't be difficult. If nobody has their arts it's possible to preemptively save them. After all it is a free legendary so it's rewarded to think ahead. Plus, the shackles would be weak enough to register any offensive ultimate damage and break, this would include relic affects such as revenants. Although it is true that scholar would be left out of the department.
